KS BP Forum

Anybody else notice that the BP forum on Kingsnake is gone?? I didn't post there often because I didn't find much help there, but I was a daily post reader; it was a good place for pics. Anybody have thoughts in this?

that is odd. i don't know what to think about it.

Here is the story, I witnessed the event myself. The users got sick and tired of the over bearing mods, and cescornship. The mods were cruel, and deleted way too many posts. So, the users had a crusade. About 20 or so members flooded the board over night with a mere one reply, saying DEAD, KS was overwhelmed and the forum was closed. Thus, I hope, making more people come to sites like this for their bp's. I hope.

I wondered what happened to it. I saw a post on another forum that the KS forum was gone. I went and checked...yep...gone. Oh well! Guess I can come here now.

Look, while I support this what standing up for your rights thing. There is definitely a line to draw. I'll tolerate a bit of out of line comments, but nothing thats an outright troll. I just had a guy sign up as fatass, I too gotta draw a line. This isn't totally unrestricted. There is a line.

Wasn't the root of the problem with certain members having flame wars/arguing or something? I'm just curious as to whether those people will end up bringing problems to other boards... or have they been banned from KS alltogether? I do agree that the mods were sensoring too much, but I remember noticing fighting on that board (un-python related sometimes) a long time ago, but I hadn't really noticed it lately.

Nope, but it sorta tied in. They got cescored, retaliated, ect.

I noticed that yesterday; although I don't visit that forum often, I browsed through KS and it was gone. How long has it been closed down?
