Usually about a week after they turn blue. In a day or so your BP's eyes will return to normal and a few days after that She will actually shed. Just keep the humidity up and you should be fine.

Start to finish anywhere from 9 to 14 days.

Read this helpful post, goes through the the entire shed cycle. --> The Shedding Process

I have one who goes from dull to blue to completely shed in about a week. I have another who starts looking dull and then about a week later goes blue and then maybe 4 days later sheds. Takes him foreverrrrrrrrr...

...so somewhere in between there! :D

My hatchlings usually take around a week for the whole process, while my bigger adult female takes almost two weeks. Just be diligent about boosting humidity and you wont have any issues.

Haha, good excuse. But then the damn things all shed together.

Depends on when you start counting. Some of mine you can see when their belly gets pink, then a few days later faded color, day later blue, blue for a day or two, clear, up, shed within next day or two. I think they all have their own schedule. Roughly 7-10 days.

If you were temporarily blind (or at least nearly blind) and was in the process of shedding all of your skin you would be grouchy too lol.

Some will tolerate being handled during shed, but it is best to just let them be if there is ever a time that you are going to get bit it's during shed.

By the time I notice him getting dull til the time he pulls out of his skin, I'd say Quetzal's taken 5 days to finish these past two sheds with me.

I found out during his first shed that he'd docile to be held. I had to treat his burns and pulled him out before realizing he was completely opaque, but he gave me no trouble while I dabbed his sore belly. Didn't hold him this past shed, but it's nice to know that I can at least treat him in case something would coincide with a shed next time.

Most will tolerate it but they will have a shorter fuse than they usually would and are more jumpy initially

My Little dude, Basilisk is evil. His belly gets so pink it looks like a burn. It used to scare the crap out of me.

I've had one snake go from just a few shades darker (just before pink) to fully shed in 6 days, and I've had one take, from full-on pink almost three weeks. Usually 9-14 days is typical.

Yeah my guy took a good 2 weeks. Eyes went blue for 3 days or so, white for about a week, normal for 1 or 2 then full shed. I didn't notice any signs prior to his eyes going blue, though. His pattern never really faded much. Was really surprised the shedding process only took about 20-30 minutes

My guy sheds fairly quick. He gets dull for about 3 days, then blue eyes for like 2 then fully sheds...so appx 6 days and he's fully done.he hides the whole time.i leave him be,keep tank humidity levels higher than normal.

he just fully finished shedding last night and it was a perfect shed. I have handled him and fed him during shed,he's a killer little dude, such a sweet temperament .. I love the little dude..never nasty
