NARBC Pickup: Caramel Albino

Went to NARBC in Tinley this weekend. Had a BLAST! Especially watching Lori and Brian from BHB sumo wrestle in blow-up sumo suits! Picked up a male caramel albino. Totally doesn't fit into ANY of my breeding plans, but I've wanted one for SO long and I found a STEAL of a price! So here's Patrick (because I bought him on St. Paddy's Day)!!

Thanks guys!! Now I just need to find a nice little hypo girl to pair him with in a year or so!! ;) Why does it always seem like I'm justifying my purchases by saying, "Oh well I need this to pair with that!" Haha!

Congratulations! I have a caramel female that I never intend to breed. She's just a pet. I always loved caramels, but I didn't want to breed them myself, and she came along at the right time, for the right price (free) - because the breeder was getting out of caramels and she had a tiny kink on the very tip of her tail.

He knew me, and offered her to me, because he didn't feel right selling a kinked animal, even though you have to know it's there to see it.

I guess I say all that, to say - you don't HAVE to fit him into your breeding plans if you just want to enjoy him for being a gorgeous critter in your collection. ;)

Beautiful carmel, I've always liked them. They've gotten such a bad rap in recent years, but I still hope to have one myself some day.
