What were each bought as?

looks like 2 normals to me. the second lighter one sorta looks fireish but i doubt it...

Both sold as fires, but the lighter one looks Vanilla-ish. :confused:

Their patterns are pretty busy for fires, but they do have some of the fire markings.

Local snake breeder here in Miami.

I was going to say the second looks Fire/Vanilla ish as well, but the first seems very bright and golden (but with the right wonky head marking). Maybe someone can post pics of lower-grade Vanillas to compare to your male?

If they were both sold to you as fires I would say it is totally plausible that they are fires. Fires can have large variances just like any other gene.

The first I believe is a Vanilla, the second is a Fire.

Vanillas have a much more golden hue, Fire's are creamy. The first looks a lot like my male Vanilla did when he was younger, they lighten with age.

The second is textbook Fire. Looks a lot like my pair.

Vanillas and Fires are VERY easy to confuse when they are young, as they age it becomes much easier to tell them apart. I'd put my money you have one of each.

The girl is undoubtedly Fire. A fairly nice one as well. She'll get even more beautiful as she gets bigger.
