Wow! What an amazing snake! I'd never get tired of looking at him. Bet he makes some pretty babies as well.

Nice snake! What the heck does that name mean though lol? Im not even gunna try and pronounce it.
It reminds me of an aztec or mayan name, i could be completely wrong though lol

I'm going to have to build a outdoor light box, cause I know Aurora would be gone if I attempted pics like these haha

I name a lot of my snakes after deities, and Tezcatlipoca is an Aztec god, you're right. :) Thanks. We didn't breed him this year, but we're planning to try him again next year, and see if we can reproduce that black back.

It was taken with an old Canon Powershot digital camera, and simple light box, out on the porch in full sun. The sun combined with the lightbox is really making some awesome photos, even with this less than awesome camera. (It's definitely not a bad camera, considering its age)!

I'm a fan of creative names so you get credit there and then the quality of that lesser is amazing. I have two lesser females on the way up to breeding size and I would be thrilled if they looked that good as adults.

He's gotten lighter as he grew up, too. :)
