HaHa! No it won't. I'm actually going to Repticon in Houston this weekend. #2 may be coming home. LOL! This is crazy. A few months ago I was scared to death, now I am obsessed! What in the world happened?:O

my wife was the same way. We got my daughter one March of last year, then in June I went to Repticon and she let me get another one and then again in September she went with us to another Repticon and she got one for herself. Repticon will get ya...hehehe

I know the feeling about being scared to death. when my son was 3 he is 13 now all he asked for was a snake. Momma, I want a snake, he would beg me for a snake, daily. I told him that I was not going to have a snake in my house. Fast forward to today. I now have four snakes in the house 2 bp, 1 corn, and 1 ksb. It took me 10 years to finally say yes, now I'm the one who is addicted...My mom, and all of my friends think I am nuts.

Haha sorry but this is exactly me and my situation to the T!! MY SON is also the whole reason why now I'm addicted and now have four snakes when I could never ever even look at one just even a yr ago! I think the general public myself included are and were so scared of just the in known the in known of just how amazing animals they really are! I have 3 corns and just got my first bp last Saturday so to say the least Iam excited

What happened is, like many people out there, you discovered snakes are not the nasty, slimy, demonic creatures the media makes them out to be.

I've always believed that once you experience them up close, and realize how wrong you were in your popular beliefs about snakes, you won't be able to resist them.

There are many and many former snake phobics here, some overcame the fear on their own. Most had the help of a friend or loved one. The good news is, it's a great addiction to have!

I can back this up Gale, my wife was terrified of my normal... Then less then 2 weeks after bringing him home she went with me to get my lesser where she not only held a 2200 gram male albino she with out a thought grabbed onto the breeders 3000 gram female haha.. I'm so proud of her :D although she was bugged out by the 200 gram hisses lmao
