200 Bucks, what to get?????????!

Alright, got 200 bucks for my bray, and a western hognose! My question is, any suggestions of low maintenance herps that will cost under 200 WITH SETUP, and live in a cage with no more floorspace than 36 by 18. I am open to anything, like Arachnids, amphibians, etc, and could probably go a little over 200. Any good ideas?

Don't know how much tarantulas are, but if you check out one of LGrays recent thread she has one that is gorgeous blue.

A vivarium full of anoles. They're seriously entertaining little guys.

If you go the T route, just make sure to do some research on the exact kind you want, some need more exact husbandry than others, and also think about aggression, whether or not it can kick hairs, and venom strength since ALL tarantulas are venomous.

Save it for when there's something specific that you really want. No sense buying something just for the sake of having the money to throw away. Then you're stuck caring for it for... How many years?

With that said, I do love tarantulas.

i love the point you made! most people do not think of it like that, haha i know i would not. Once i get money i go out and get another snake:) but the money saved right now is also useful for if you need some new equipment for other animals of yours.

Get an african bullfrog!!! They are awesome.
