    Pastel? Normal? Something else?
I adopted this little guy from a local reptile rescue, and I'm not sure if he's a morph or just a normal. It doesn't really matter, as I'm not planning on breeding him, but I'm curious none-the-less. http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...75916405_n.jpg

looks like a browned out pastel. I can't really tell from the pictures, are the eyes green?

They seem to be like half black and half yellowish. could be green. Do you have a pic of green eyes I could compare them to?

I'm seeing blushing but the eyes look brown in the pics. I'd still say browned pastel though. How old?

His eyes do look similar in colour to the ones in that picture.

http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...20280757_n.jpg there's a pic of part of his belly. it's white except for a few tiiiiny little dots of greyish near the edges. he's about 7 months old.

I'm 99.9% sure that he is a pastel. not the greatest pastel I have ever seen but not the worst either.

That is a browned out pastel. Still a beautiful snake and in all honestly it is one that I would keep as a pet. The second pic you can see the green eyes BTW.

First pic you can see the green eyes not the second

Yep you sure can. I am half asleep and forgot that there was more than one pic showing the eyes. But either way it is a pastel and you can see it in the pics.

My vote is pastel. You can see the eye color in first pic.

Could a "Browned out pastel" Produce brighter pastels, when breeded to a normal?

Yes. Ugly looking snakes can throw pretty babies and pretty snakes can have ugly babies. But I would still try to get bright and clean pastels. The chances of having pretty babies are higher with a pretty parent. Also, depending on the normal, they can clean up and enhance a morph too. (I.e. a bright clean normal)

100% sure it is a low quality pastel.
