smallest size to breed?

    smallest size to breed?
    my smallest female to pair up was 1500 grams but i also have a female that is 1200+ grams and i wonder what is your guys' smallest female to breed? also my friend tells me to pair because she will eat more once the male gets in so i just want your opinions

    PS, i wont breed until 1500 because i want all the eggs possible!

    Last season my female enchi was 1207 grams AFTER ovulation and gave me 4 eggs and zero slugs, hatchlings were 1.3 Super enchi (twins) and 0.1 Enchi :-)

    On 10/19/10 she was 1232 grams. On 2/27/11 I palpated 5 follicles and she was down to 1162 grams. Then on 5/15/11 she was up to 1207 grams. She laid on 6/28/11 and was only 829 grams empty! She was a late 2008 hatchling.

    yeah im looking at it now, she was 1520..... should i wait until 1500 or do the intro now and feed alot?

    also i have a rat guy with rats for about 1.50 so feeding isnt a problem for me i will feed her every 5-7 days if she will eat lol

    I'd be concerned about her having dropped from 1520g to 1200g. Has she been off feed?

    it was from breeding her last season and he couldnt get rats to feed her as much because his rat guy stopped, but she is defecating and peeing all over the place i think she is ready to breed but im not gonna let her

    She was 1520 last season before laying. I had a terrible year producing rats, so she was only offered food every other week. That is why she is only 1200 now :-(

    Personally I would not breed a female that has not fully bounced back which to me means putting back on her original weight from the previous season + some more.
