What is your male to female ration?

Like the tittle how many males to females do you pair?

I have one male and three females

4-5 is a pretty good number. You just have to keep in mind that the more females the male is with, the less locks each female will get. You don't want to stretch him out too thin, but you could do more. It just depends on whether or not you want to risk getting much fewer locks with several girls.

One male to every 4 females for me

I have 1:2 right now, but will likely have 1:3 by the time I start breeding.

I have 9 female and 5 male ball pythons, and one female and one male boa :)

When I start pairing, I'll probably breed only up to 2 males per female.

My ratio is almost 1 male to 5 females... wont start picking up powerhouse males until next year :)

As for what I own, it's about 1 male per 4-5 females. As for how many females I'll breed a single male to, it all depends. I have one boy who has been paired with 6 girls, yet another who's only been paired to one.

I have all males. My snake room is a total sausage fest... :-(

To the OP our current ratio is 1 male to 2 females overall, but we are gradually changing that by adding more females and will hopefully have some good hold backs from this years breeding. As far as mating goes it really depends, we have a couple males that will only be paired to a single female and others who will be paired with 4-5.

Im trying to have a 1 male to 3 females

right now i have 3 males 3 females, if breeding season is any good for me ill be holding back most of my females

Right now i have 1.2 but i have 1 more female on deposit so itll be 1.3 fairly soon.
