My girlfriends first reptile
We saw that Petco was having a sale on crested geckos. I've never seen one at a petco I'd want, but I decided it would be fun just to go and look. To our surprise they also had leopard geckos for 50% off ($15). I asked one of the employees to let me see what they had. She couldn't say no to this one.
Since I already had some Q-tubs ready and I breed dubia roaches it won't be much extra effort to add this little one to the collection. I've had leos in the past but I never look into the morphs, so I'm not sure what morph it is.
All four of it's feet had horrible sheds on them. I put it in a sauna for around 15 minutes and made a moist hide in its 6qt tub. Its front right foot looks to be really red, hopefully it will shed within a few days. I lightly wiped a wet Q-tip over its legs and the top left one came off but the rest aren't coming off just yet. I just don't want it to loose any feet or toes because of it.

Congrats on the new Leo :)
Do you know what makes the difference between a tangerine and a super hypo tang? Or have a good website of morphs for leos?

Oh yeah, leos and fat tails are incredibly easy as long as you can provide the proper thermal gradient. Once you get that setup perfectly all you really have to do is feed insects every other to every night and provide clean water and substrate. Look into some care sheets. They are considered a beginners reptile for a very good reason, easy to care for, lots of great colors/patterns, great to handle, and plus they look cool.
