    Reputable Boa Breeders
    Hi all,

I'm interested in getting a Boa, and I need to know some good breeders to buy from. If anyone has a suggestion, please do reply with the name!

    Thanks!

Did you decide what kind you want in particular? That would help with making a suggestion. :gj:

I'm really torn between some kind of morph (motley) and a Hog Island. The Colombians seem pretty interesting as well.

What kind you are looking for does matter in who people will recommend.

If you are looking for hypo, jungle or hypo jungle red tails I would highly recommend Boots Hawks. I have his e-mail if that is what you are looking for. I got my girl from him and I will be getting a male from him when the weather warms up. He's great to work with. :D

Three great breeders that come highly recommended.

    Rich Ihle at Salmonboa.com

    http://www.salmonboa.com/

Vin Russo at Cutting Edge. Vin specializes in the pure blood dwarf localities if you're looking for a Hog.

And Jeff Ronne at The Boaphile.

And I highly recommend Tim Koppenhoffer with Special K Reptiles. I have gotten 3 boas now from him and every experience was exceptionally professional and he is wonderfully friendly and informative. Just a great all-around guy to work with.

    This is Jasper....

And this is Peaches - my sweetest ever baby girl....

My new boy, Mojo, needs to settle in - we just picked him up today! - so I'll post pics of him next week. ;)

I got my BCI boy, a salmon pastel, from Jimmisnakes. It was a very good experience and I am thrilled with the snake.

Thank you! He carries the genes for a full stripe. Tim proved that out with Jasper's parents a couple years ago and when a daughter is bred back to dad the results are full body stripes! It'll be interesting to see what Jasper and Peaches produce together - they are also both het for ghost! ;)

All of these suggestions look great! With so many great breeders to choose from, I'm not sure which one I'll go with yet, lol.

P.S. This is rather irrelevant, but I'm making this post at school.

In addition to Vin Russo, Gus Rentfro at Rio Bravo Reptiles also breeds pure blood locality BCC's and BCI's...
