pics of the two fatties

I fed my two last night and took some pics (everyone else posting was making me jealous). It is working out so they both feed on the same night for now so that is good. They both took 2 adult mice. I am currently feeding every 5 days which is working great. Thor has put on about 80 grams in about a month and a half, so i figure that is good. My new female was only eatting 1 adult mouse each week before I got her and after two feedings with me I can already see her fattening up nicely. I can't wait to see how much weight she can put on by November.

How old is she?
She's gorgeous.

she is an 04 August hatchling.....I assume that he is about the same but I am not for sure.

i wish the top half of her was nice and reduced like his whole body....but it is still going to be nice to see what their childeren look like :) They both have really nice blushing though...the picks dont really show it too well. I guess we will see next year if she is up to size.

you see that black spot on her neck....bp freckle....it trips me out.

thats an 04 hatchling?

Thats quite some growth for a August '04 hatchling.......have you weighed her?

she is not that big. she weighed about 500 grams when she arrived last weekend but my scale is not the most accurate. one mouse a week was definately not enough for this girl. She probably weighs more close to 570 grams in the pic because she has eatten 4 adult mice since 3/25. I hope to breed her next year. she is not that big huh? adam said he had some august hatchlings that were bigger

Maybe its just hard to tell from the pic with no other objects for size reference.

But 400-600 grams is about par for a healthy, well-fed 6-8 month old. My yearling female just broke 1300 grams!

that is good weight for aug 04's! i have some june 04 babies that are 500-600 grams. they have been on small rats the past month and are really starting to gain alot now. man brad, a yearling at 1300! she's doing good.
adam has some big bp's, he's got a good feeding regime and i've seen some of his big yearlings and breeders they are huge!

What do you keep them in?

I keep them in a rack that I made about a month ago. The tubs are rubbermaids (34x16x6).

I FEED MY BP 3-4 A.MOUSE EVERY 2 WEEK. PIAZON IS 2YR OLD. FATTER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER.IF I WAS IN JAIL IN A SMALL CELL I WOULD TRY TO EAT LESS NOT MORE
