Oh my gosh.....just woke up to a terrible sound!

I am up very early this morning! My new female normal was thrashing all over the place and I heard this horrible burping sound! I freaked out at first not knowing what the hades was going on. I checked her tub and there was poop all over the place! Who says snakes do not get gas! The poop was normal but man, I have never heard such a loud fart in my life!

LOL! Some of mine are very loud as well, the first time they did this it took me a second to figure it out, they can get pretty gassy. Maybe you need to put some gas x in your rats, j/k.:D.

Nice horror story.. Here's mine. :P

I was Playing GOW3 online.. You know threw the 400 Wat surrond sound.. I head this MASSIVE fart... and it keeps going...and going...and GOING...AND GOING for at least 30 seconds... I look over and see this LONG line of poop almost as long as the snakes body.. I look away and he just lets out a huge fart and yawns.. looks at me and tilts his head like "...WhaT? I can't use the bathroom"

I'll admit.. they're scary! But afterwards they make a good tale that most people don't believe. :P

Yea it can be very confusing when you first hear it. You wouldn't imagine such a loud fart could come out of a snake.

Yea, I realized how loud they can and do fart the first time I got pooped on by my pastel. He was on my lap and his whole body kind of made this continuous "S" shape and I freaked out thinking something was wrong. Then the peep, poop, and huge fart followed all over my thighs. Needless to say that now, if I have him out after he has eaten and not crapped I always have an old towel under him.

OK, now that is funny.

Since we are waking up to reptile fart stories i thought id share one. So i have a big adult savanah monitor that is almost 4 ft long head to tail and ive had him for years. Hes basically the dumpster. He eats anything that the snakes wont eat. Well a couple years ago during breeding season for the snakes i had like 4 females that would kill but not eat their rats so i took the rats out and gave em to tiny. Yes his name is tiny hes the only reptile with a name lol. anyways so he ate the rats and a couple days later i hear a god awful noise and then a huge smack and crack. Right at the moment of the first sound i looked and he took a giant fart followed with a crap and followed it up with a tail whip that put an 8 inch crack up the side of his 120 gallon glass tank. I couldnt believe it. Dude has some strength.

Learned this lesson the hard way as well. The carpet of the appartment I was living in at the time was never quite the same...Might be why I never got a deposit back from that place.
