Finally got my TATTOO!

Took me almost a month longer than i thought i would but i finally got that tattoo i wanted. just thought i would share with everyone. Cheers.

it ended up being ALOT cheeper than i thought it would too! My artist is really quick - this whole thing took me less than an hour and a half. If anyone in the GTA is looking for a good artist let me know! I will deff pass along his info for you.

Looks good. Good size too... You would kick yourself later if you went smaller. You got anything on the left arm? Or plans?

It looks good. Looks pretty close to the drawing ur gf did for u on ur arm. She got it pretty close lol!

thats awesome man! congrats. I cant wait till I move out to get some. Something on the left arm to compliment it would be incredible.

I'm usually not a huge fan of tattoos but that looks sick.

Thanks bro! I actually had plans for the left arm first lol but I went with the script because it was simpler to start with.

On my left arm I want to do a tribal sleeve that starts off on my shoulder as a pheonix, which falls out into a lion on my upper arm, and I'm still debating if I want to incorperate something else on my forarm or just finish the sleeve as a thick tribal design. Both the pheonix and the lion are going to part of the tribal. I'm pretty excited about it but the outline alone is gonna land me prob 6 or 7 bills so I keep putting it off. Lol

Yeah - I have a abstract wolf on my stomach. The wolf is howling and the inside is a shadded woodland scene. It's pretty small, and I don't like it - I got it when I was off with my surgery and I was too doped up to think it through LOL. I plan on having both my arms full, a back piece and some chest work. I want my arm pieces to come up on my neck but I work in law enforcement so I'm limited to what I can do :(

I thought I read somewhere that you can't have any tattoo's that are visible if you're wearing a short sleeve shirt and shorts? I want to get a half sleeve, but can't because I'll be going into Law enforcement within the next two years.

But your tattoo looks awesome! I'm def getting a back piece done soon. I just need to figure out what I want. :D

I actually took yesterday afternoon off from work for a scheduled appointment with my artist, and when I got to the shop I discovered she had flaked on me...not the first time for her to do that. This afternoon I'll be heading straight over there after work for some words with her. I just need her to finish my right sleeve, then I'll be moving on to another artist. I should have learned after waiting 8 months for her to finish my chest piece due to her being a guest in the county lock up. Gotta' love tattoo artist!

Depends on the department. Everyone has different rules on visible tattoos.

Not sure about the States, but in Toronto you can have full sleeve tattoos. A LOT of officers do in my area. I think it has more to do with what each police force considers professional. Obviously if you have snoop smoking a joint they will have an issue. LoL. I think most employers are starting to realize that this generation is covered in tattoos, and they don't represent outlaw or gang activity anymore. After all, the Police are there to represent the community they serve LOL

In my position I don't have to worry too much. I work mostly nights and if they have a problem with it I'll just wear long sleeves lol

I got my first tattoo on the inside of my right ankle May of 2010 with my nephew when he graduated from high school and he got his. I have plans for another one on the inside of my left ankle at some point and time. Love your tat! BTW is anyone else watching the tattoo show with Chris Nunez and Dave Navarro on SpikeTV called Ink Master? Very addicting.

I'm watching it every week, as are the artist at my Tat Shop. I think it's a much better show than the Miami/LA/NY Ink series.

My artist is Darwin out of BluGod - wellesley and Younge. My last tat came out of a shop in Scarborough.. I'll never go back. I think I will stick with this place. My gf has stuff done from 4 or 5 different shops across the GTA. Imperial Tattoo is awesome!! Ronan did my gf's back piece and I tried to get him but he's been booked for years. He wont even take new clients lol but I hear the rest of his staff are awesome.

thats the way it goes with the really good artists. the guy i use is booked months in advance.

Looks pretty good man, would love to see a healed pic. Lines look solid and the shading fades nice. (I'm half sleeved left arm and nearly full right arm)
