    Opinion on my website name
So I have been thinking of what to name my website and I think I figured it out. I really like constrictors laboratory(constrictorslab.com), what do you think?

I like it. Not to get too technical but do you think the actual name will be: Constrictor's Laboratory, Constrictors Laboratory, or Constrictor Laboratory?

Actually, it kinda reminds me of a snake testing facility instead of a breeder :snake:

I sorta got that feeling too but i think the logo design would make a big difference. If its something sorta cartoony like pro exotics logo then i think he'll be good.

I actually did not give that a thought. What do you think?

If it were me id go with the first one: Constrictor's Lab.
The apostrophe shows ownership so its like the snakes lab. I think this would help lead people to not think its a testing lab like Lgray was sayin. Also by having the snakes have "ownership" its like the snakes come first in your business. Which is how it should be, about the animals not money. Just my 2 cents. In the end its your desicion tho!

I completely agree with you and actually for nh logo I was going to have a snake with thetail and neck/head out if a beaker with eggs and a test tube with fire in the back. It may be a lot but looks pretty wicked drawn up. I appreciate all the help, the last thing I want is for.people to get the wormy idea and think its a testing facility. :(

Yea well if you make it cartoony and have a phrase like "the snake breeding experts" or something silly like that underneath it then ppl should get it...

I'm going to have to agree with LGray here. I just feel that it's a little to "animal testing lab" for my personal pallet. I do like my off-the-wall quirky names but this one just doesn't sit well with me.

Consider the poor spellers of the world. There are a lot of letters to get wrong in that name. Both of those are very commonly misspelled.

Constrictors Laboratory is hard to spell. Both words are commonly misspelled:
    Constricters Laberatory
    Konstrikters Laberatary
    lol

Also, what are you going to be selling primarily? BPs? Because I gott the feeling from the word "constrictor" (even though pythons are technically constrictors, too) that you're doing boas.

I really do like the laboratory idea with the beaker/test tube and the snake, that is if it's minimalistic and cartoony. Wouldn't recommend fire. I don't think that the "lab" aspect really suggests or connotes animal testing. As long as the colors on the logo and website are upbeat (although, a black background is :gj:) and the general atmosphere is neat and eyecatching as opposed to busy, sketchy-looking, or spooky.

I like graphic design, let me know if you want a draft or two for the logo. :)

I would be doing bps and Kenyans. If you want to send me an idea go for it. I'd appreciate it!!

You won't DO good business, if folks can't FIND your business. ABC.com is easy, but taken. I suggest you consider something that is easy to find, spell and remember correctly.

    Best of luck!

:gj: haha, I like the name because I work in labs all the time and I am trying to get the idea across that they are "made" in their lab, because all the cool colors and patterns.

It's not a bad idea... only thing that pops out to me is the constrictorslab.com could look like "Constricor Slab"... We used to have a website for Pink's Heating. It was pinksheating.com... looks funny. We changed it.

Anyway, I'd probly look at constrictorlab.com.
