:O :D Thats awesome! Very clean looking, great job. Kind of makes me want to make one now, instead of buying one.

Nice and clean, looks great. I couldn't tell if you put fans in. I built one the same size and put 2 pans to circulate the air and distribute the heat evenly. Just a thought. I hope to start filling mine soon too.

    Thanks guys :)

There is a built in fan at the top that runs constantly. Worked out pretty well so I don't think I'll need an additional fan at the bottom. There are temp differences between the shelves but they stay constant.

A+!!!!! looks great. the nice thing about these type bators is that *most* have the fan built in. now get that baby full!!!!!
BTW, if the light still works, you can put an in line toggle swich on it and mount it outside the bator that way you can just flip on the lights from the outside and never really need to open it.
    spooky

Thanks! Yup, the fan is built in. It's just not visible form the front. The best part was our Dane was so mad/scared that he was in there, haha, she was barking like crazy!

Thanks!! The built in fan is awesome. I thought it would be too much circulation but it seems to be doing the job. I'm waiting on pins and needles for 4 Ovys. They are driving me nuts!

The light does work, I asked my husband to run a switch to the outside and he didn't want to. Grr. LOL. I'll make him do it when he's home for good :).

I got this one from Spitzu. He found it on Craigslist and he also has a similar one for himself, but a bit smaller.

I have one sitting in the garage right now waiting till we move ( too tall for my basement ). Did you drill a hole in the back for the probe/plugs or did you use the drain hose hole?

    Nice and clean set up.:gj:

Thanks! I used the drain hole in the back (after I pulled the tubing out) but I had to make it bigger to fit the pugs through. It took some time to cut the metal flashing though :/. We had to take the top lighting box, lower vent cover and door off to get it down stairs. Not to mention taking the basement and back door off the hinges.
