Egg dance. I got eggs :)

Well I peeked into one of the girls cages this morning and saw....eggs :) We got 7 beautiful eggs with veins and one very small one. I didn't see any veins in it but only gave it a quick glance. I put them all in my incubator and now the LOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG wait for them to hatch. The girl was put with my stunning mojo male and my black pastel male. I am praying for a female black pastel.

I have one more girl that looks ready to pop but not sure if she will or not.

I wish I knew how to set up an egg cam. Can anyone tell me how? I had to get the eggs into the incubator fast as it was cold in the house and I didn't want them to get cold. I will get some photos of the eggs soon :) Yes the incubator camping has started.

<sigh> It has only been 6 days. So why does it feel like 6 weeks? The slug I took out. I have 7 beautiful very veined eggs. I decided to get photos tonight as we had the fire going and it is over 81 in the house so the eggs won't lose much heat. The eggs are a bit dry and feel a little leathery, so I added more water. I was really worried about the heat consistancy of the incubator so I put a large block of marble in the egg tub. It is doing better than I had hoped. The eggs only lost .2 degrees while being out, and the tub was back up to 88 within 10 minutes. I had a friend taking the pics, so I didn't get any vein pics but I did get one good clutch shot. The first photo is the day they hatched and the second one is from tonight.

I also have a HUGE favor. If anyone knows how to set up an egg cam please pm me, or tell me where to go to find the info. I have been looking but am not having much luck. Thanks.

Congrats! I wish I could breed this year. But by next week or so when I could get an adult normal by the time she settles in it'll probably be too late right?

It really depends on the girl and what she has had done to her. Some believe that you have to cool them down, but I don't. You can always get your girl and put a boy with her (after QT) and see if she ovulates. I would watch them and see if they lock. Good luck.
