too cool. this is my best friend's favorite morph. she's not into ball pythons but she says if she was this is the morph she would get. i told her she better make me some babies if she ever does get one. :)

If ghosts tend to darken with age, could you even see that one as a hatchling? ;) Beautiful!

I adore that mom's pattern. No black dots that I can see; that is the kind of BP I like! Add to that her awesome ghostliness, and that is just overall a snake I would trade my car for.

Newbie questions here....I looked at the Desert Ghost and I looked at another pic of an Axanthic as well as other Desert Ghosts....

    1) some other Desert Ghost pics I found online look more "brownish" then this snake which looks more black/silver to me

    2) this more black/silver Desert Ghost looks like some Axanthic's pics I've seen

Please educate me, I feel a bit dumb here not being able to understand what I'm looking at...what am I missing?

Albino's and Pastels are the cheapest of the "true" morphs. They typically cost around $2000 to $3000 (for one animal).

Pastel males can be found from $700 (sometimes lower) and up depending on quality. With pastels, it's more of a "you get what you pay for market".

Pastel females this year should run around $1,500 and up, same deal.

Beautiful animal but the money is insane. Each to their own though.

To my eye the pastels and the ghosts are beautiful snakes but the piebald and albinos look far too odd. I'd rahter a normal any day.
