So far two people have experienced this - but in both cases the pictures in question are viewable by others. I'm doing some digging but so far have not been able to replicate the problem. If anyone else experiences this - or is unable to see xXGregXx's gallery pics please let me know as it might help me narrow it down. So far as I can tell there is nothing server-side causing this or others would see it as well.

Did clearing your cache and deleting cookies not help at all? Are you running any 3rd party firewall or security software? BlackIce Defender?

I just went through and tried to duplicate the problem, I am not having any problems. Hmm. The only time I had this problem once before was when I had to clear cookies and all that crud. But after that I have not ever had any problems.

OK just got a PM indicating it was indeed an issue with security software causing the red X's - what have you got running Greg?

I had the same problem and thought that it was just site contruction but it wasn't. I have Zone Alarm Pro security system. I had to go into the Privacy heading and then to the Site List tab. Added www.ball-pythons.net to the site list and edited it to allow private headers. I hope this helps because I know it was driving me nuts too! All those smiles and pictures and I couldn't see 'em! Good luck getting it to work if indeed this is the same problem! If I can help any more just let me know!

Thanks for the tip! We'll have to add that to the site's FAQ section.

It's strange...I never had any problems before the switch. Maybe my computer has a grudge or pms? Anyway I've had a firm talking to it and since editing the security system I've had no problems. Hope it helps.

We are running all-new software, which I'm sure it why it started happening after the move. Apparently newer versions of ZoneAlarm are also more restrictive than previous versions by default and may cause trouble with various site features anywhere, according to what I'm reading.

That makes sense. I'm just glad to be able to see everything again! The site looked a little funny with all the x's, but now everything looks wonderful! Great Job!

Have you tried seeing if you are running ZoneAlarm or other security software and checking your settings?

I didn't have any problems with my Norton, but just to check you could always disable it and see if you can see any of the images. If you can you know it's something in Norton if not you might want to check your other programs. Just make sure you turn Norton on again. I'm sorry I'm not great with computers, but I wish you good luck on figuring out whatever program that's creating the conflict!
