    Herpstat is being discontinued
Went to order one and the woman on the phone said they're discontinuing them so I'm waiting for them to call me back to tell me if they have one is stock. :(

They are in the process of upgrading to a new line. The one you are interested in must be discontinued. Someone else may be able to provide further information.

Which model were you trying to get? That's a bummer.

They are discontinuing all of the current models except the Herpstat 4. The new ones that they are being replaced with have better circuits and even better prices, and grounded outlets standard.

This is a good thing :D

Just wait the new ones will be out soon. Have you contacted spyder robotics directly? If not you really should before you buy anything.

As stated they are up dating all the models to the 4s standard I believe there is a new lower end one and three middle versions and then the 4 model

    http://www.spyderrobotics.com/home/developement.html

it is linked on the home page...

OP email Dion and ask about the new version I am guessing it will be shipping shortly.

As others have said Herpstat is about to upgrade thier thermostats with new designs, so you may not be able to get the one you were looking for.

If you cannot wait for the new Herpstat line and need a good thermostat right now I recommend checking out the Vivariums: http://www.reptilebasics.com/ve-100

    New models are:

Herpstat intro $99-non grounded plugs, single probe

Herpstat I forgot price, grounded plug, single channel new form factor

Herpstat II forgot price, 2 grounded plugs similar form factor to the current Herpstat II

    Herpstat 4-current model

I would go with the VE-200 since the VE-100 is not a proportional thermostat.

If you need single output thermostat we still have Herpstat ND's for the time being. We have sold off the last original Herpstat. If all goes well we will have the Herpstat Intro ready for sale by the weekend. A week later we will have the new Herpstat 1 and Herpstat 2's ready to go and the Herpstat 1 Basic about a week after that. The new thermostats are sweet and you won't find the same amount of advanced features and customizability in any other thermostat on the market. Not to mention the reliability from a manufacturer thats been providing quality thermostats since 2004.

For any specs on the VE you should shoot a email to Rich (sales@reptilebasics.com). I'm sure he will give you the info.

New thermostats look badass! Although I've only had a snake for 4 weeks, I can't wait to start a collection. I'll definitely pick up another Herpstat down the road.

    Nice work Dion.
