What's Your Holy Grail Snake?

What morph got you into bps?

What morph are you currently saving for/pining for? If you've bought/produced your "holy grail" morph, what's your new goal?

For me, it was pieds. I saw one online and decided that MUST be the most awesome bp ever. I've since acquired 1.1 het pieds so next season I should have a shot at producing one.

Right now I'm pining for a caramel albino. They are just such hot snakes! I'm hoping to be in a position to purchase one at NARBC in March.

I'm also quite interested in the Super Black Pastels and I'm currently on the prowl for 1.1 black pastels.

I really also love BELs and Dreamsicles. :)

I have expensive tastes...

Banana, lavender albino, or a candy. There are others I love but these are awesome! Now to win the lottery. :rolleyes:

normals got me into them, in my eyes, a nice normal can triumph over any morph

my "holy grail"? tough one, maybe a hypo ultramel pinstripe, i bet that would be amazing

my next morph is hopefully going to be a spinner girl, or a pinstripe, either one, i want to make some jigsaws mainly. i also wouldnt mind a hypo butter bee

Killer bees are awesome too! IDK... I don't think I could pick one. There are a few that I really like. :P

BEL's are what got me into bp's...but for me, it has always been and still is the mojave. May seem silly, but I love mojos on their own, never get sick of seeing them, and am fascinated by mojave combos.

I really don't have one morph in particular that I'm saving up for...though ultramel and desert ghost are up there for me. I'd say this year, I hope to be adding specter and/or orange dream into my collection.

I'm anxiously awaiting my tax refund so I can pick up a pastel pied male. I will be praying to the odd gods next year that my pastel yellow belly proves to be het pied (she's a 50% het pied) and that I hit on a super pastel yellow belly pied or at the very least a super pastel yellow belly 100% het pied female. :P

That's my current dream that I hope to make a reality. I have so many projects going on next year it's a little hard to keep track of. Next season I'm going to be hoping for butter bees, enchi bumble bees, whatever a pastel fire yellow belly is called, powerballs (super spotnose), pastel spotnoses, and I haven't decided what to do with my pewter yet, either going to breed her with my pastel yellow belly or the pastel pied I plan on picking up. I have a lot of dreams. :D

I also recently put down a deposit on a female morph that I don't have in my collection yet, but that one is going to be secret until I finish paying for her and she arrives. She's exactly what I have been wanting since I found out about them and waiting is so hard. :D

So I guess to answer your question, I don't have one holy grail snake. I have a lot of dreams I'm trying to make a reality. :D

There are lots and lots that I want... but currently the one that fits closest to a "holy Grail " would be the albino spinner blast.

Albinos got me to originally notice BPs several years ago, BELs got me back in to BPs

Current Holy Grail would be a Banana Enchi

I got into bps when I saw the pins. I think they are beautiful snakes!

I am working on getting butter mojaves (BELs) and Butter Bee Hypos :)

I hope to have money for a banana pin (my holy grail!) XD they are my favorite by far!

My first ball was (and still is, lol!) an albino, Shy Ronnie. As far as The Grail: Dreamsicles, Lightning Pieds, a BEL, Axanthic Pastel...I like a lot of the recessive morphs, base & designers both...lots of others I can't think of at the moment. I'm trying to keep from buying any more until the ban crap is decided one way or the other so if I move to Canada I won't have to pack as many, lol! I want to breed the ones I have & hopefully make my hobby a little more self-sustaining, lol!

Super pastel and firefly is what got me into bp's. Love,the crazy yellow's (don't own either lol).

I'm putting down 50% of the money I need next week for a killer combo pair (at least for me it is ). As, long as the newborn is a male (just pipped yesterday). I'm looking to buy a male super pastel het clown X female Killer clown!!!!!

I have two holy grails I guess. One , I will have reached. The second holy grail morph for me would be? "killer banana"

A Mojave was my first Morph. My dream is a BEL. I will probably have to keep on dreaming lol. Maybe one day.

For bps my favorites are black/blued eyed lucys, super black pastel, powerball, ivorys, firefly, vanilla scream, and some that I can't remember because I just woke up.

For snakes in general, I really want a pair of burmese pythons, either albino labyrinth or bel, a pair of womas, a rtb, some carpets,lavender anery corn snake, and some others that I can't remember either.

Banana Clown and Albino Pied and Super Pastel Hypo Pied, all I need is a Banana :gj: the rest is already a work in progress.

As for those that got me into breeding Bumblebee and Pied which I both have already produced from scratch ;) a few years ago.

White snakes got me into bp's, BEL just awesome.

my holy grail is a red eye'd lucy (albino BEL), tired last year to make some lesser het albinos, no eggs, trying again this year.

I remember freakin out when I saw all the different colors, pattern's and possibilitie's. Now if I had to pin the morphs that made me really start changing my spending habits LOL They were bumblebee's, pied's Bel's and albino's.

Bumble Bee's got me started. But, my Holy Grail of BP's is a Super Spotnose anything. I'm working with a spotnose albino male and hoping to make some super spotnose albinos in the next coupld of years. Working on a super spotnose het albino this year. :)

Mojaves are my all time favorite, when I got my first balls I got myself a mojo male and decided it wouldn't be half bad to pick up a pastel girl. Now I've got firefly mojaves as my eventual goal.

Holy grail? So hard to chose one... I LOVE the Urban Camo ball, never get tired of seeing pictures of that snake, been keeping an eye on that project. And Axanthic combos, I've got a little dream plan in my head for a True Ghost Clown, but I'd also love to mix some axanthic into my firefly mojave stuff once I've gotten farther in the project

True ghost and snow balls. I love my recessive morphs and those will be my future goals when I start breeding some day.

I can't believe nobody has said the panda pied. That are so amazing in my opinion. The other holy grail for me is a bumblebee butter/lesser. This is the project i will be working on in the comming years.

Panda pied is one of those I forgot! I don't know how I did, they're my absolute favorite. I'm going to breed those someday :)

I'm plain flat OBSESSED with clowns and clown combos. The pattern on their back makes me think of frosting dripping down a cake. The darker the pattern the better. I freaked out the first time I saw fresh-hatch pics of pastel, super pastel, and normal clowns. They look like candy! Ohhhhh and axanthic clowns....oh.... this could get inappropriate for a family oriented forum lol.

Pieds, especially panda pieds were another of the first to make me wanna get into it. And around half the things I drool over on N.E.R.D.'s and a couple other's websites.

My holy grail morph would have to be a queenspin calico. I am also very curious as to what an albino potion would look like and a highway potion.

What morph got you into bps? VPI Axanthics and Albinos, The desire to produce a Snow,thought to potentially look like a Snow Corn at that time, was what I was going for in the late 90's.

One of my friend's pastels actually got me into BPs - researching them and such. And then I just kind of fell in love with all the morphs. I don't think there's a morph I really dislike. The snake I would love to breed, though, is definitely a panda pied. I do love clowns, too, and of course the bananas and a caramel albino spider wouldn't be an unwelcome member to my future collection.

I would love to have a clown but those citrus pastels are looking pretty sweet. Right now though my Holy Grail would be a clown morph.

For some reason, my holy grail is a pastel lesser. i was going to just get one but i deceeded to breed my own. im nowhere close to start a major collection to start breeding with, but its a good way to keep my hopes up that on day i will start breeding.

What got me into BP's is my normal - Ryn. She's my definition of the perfect normal :)

My holy grails - Super Black Pastels, BEL's, REL's, Panda Pieds.

My dreams/previous holy grail - Originally my holy grail was Piebalds. Then I found the solid colored ones :P - I now have two 100% Het Piebald babies from Dave Green - I'm super excited to produce my own Pieds. Knowing me, I'm going to keep them all xD

Albino Pied for me. But i can think of a really long lists of runner-ups.

Superstripe combos are my current favorites that I'm trying to produce. The highways and pumas are ridiculous. Gotta love the good old yellowbelly.

What morph got me into BPs?? My wonderful normal girl, Ella. She opened up a whole new world for me.

What is my holy grail morph?? A bumblebee lesser/butter. I love anything with butter or lesser in it and I love the bee pattern. I hope to pick up a nice male at Tinley in the fall.

What's next?? I'll go ahead a pick up my butterbee, but I want to get a few girls to go with him one day: a pinstripe, black pastel, and butter. I can make some of my favorite morphs with those combos: BELs, kingpins, black widows, spinner blasts and butter spinners. Of course, I'll have to hit the odds, lol... :gj:

Normals got me into the hobby, and I still think they are great, but if I was offered any morph, right now, I'd have to take a Lavender Albino.

I've loved ball pythons since I was 4 years old. My mom and I would always go into this local family run pet store, and there was always a normal BP there. I remember always wanting it. I finally have one :) I will get a morph or two once my boyfriend and I get married or live together with good paying jobs.

I'm right there with you Evenstar!! I feel in love with lessers when I held one at a show a few weeks ago.Never even gave them a thought until I saw one in person. :)

Ivory ball was one with hook me up to this hobby... and Even if i passing on ball pythons (my hobby goin in to the different species of snakes now) If I could Keep Only one snake till the end of my life.. That will be Graphite Ball Python from Ben Siegel Graphite Line... That Heads Down the most beautiful snake I ever Seen :bow::bow::bow:
