Seen on Craigslist...
I like to look through the snakes on CL, sometimes you run into some legit neat stuff (like a nice Cinny for $150!!). Saw this guy and thought there was something neat about him. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't be able to get him personally, we have no space, but hey, if anyone's in the Baltimore area you should check out the CL listings, some nice morphs up right now.

Hes got a really nice reduced pattern!

I enjoy browsing CL just to look at everyone's BS prices on reptiles who are trying to make a quick buck, iv ran into so many sick snakes on there. CL just isn't a website you want to trust when buying herps.
But on a positive note! I have seen alot of good deals on CL from actual LEGIT breeders, moral of the story is....just be careful!

wow i wish i had some time to drive up there that first guy is a hell of a deal.

CL is how I met most of the local breeders where I live, and they were all very reputable and reliable breeders.

I got my spider off of Craigslist from a legit breeder who deals on Fauna and couldn't be happier with her :gj: Though I can't say I'd buy anything off there (Craigslist) unless the person is known positively around the BOI: buying from breeders > random people IMO.

Re: Seen on Craigslist...
Both good looking animals at fair prices. Most of detroits adds are scumbags trying to sell normals for 250:rolleyes:
-
Craigslist has been a bounty of strange and weird mice, too. So it's not just interesting snake finds!
I've found mice that are illegal to own. . . mice that have super rare genes, and some that have un-known genes!
-
Hmmmm......I might have to go pic these up!
Whenever I'm getting rid of normals, and my first year breeding leos, I've used CL to post ads. Heck I have an ad up right now to for two normal males :P

Yeah id have to agree. I'm from walled lake originally and look there sometimes for one that my parents can ship to me. I'm stationed in north carolina now with the army so lol

If I lived in the area and had the space I'd pick up that first guy in a heart beat. Even if he did wind up just being a nice looking normal, he's a REALLY nice looking normal haha.

Same thing here where i am, its very frustrating!

Probably because people see a snake and go "oh no, a venomous monster that will grow to 50 feet and thirst for human blood!!" and flag it to "save" other people from meeting a terrible end. :P
Do you know how many people have asked me (multiple times) if either my ball or boa was venomous? WHILE I was holding it?
EDIT: I just tried the links, they work. I guess CL agreed that the OP was doing nothing wrong?

Didnt work for me again, it probably worked for you because your computer has that page saved in memory.

No, they're flagged because Craigslist doesn't permit the sale of animals through its site. It only allows adoptions.
Obviously, if someone has a ball python listed for $250, it is for sale, not for adoption. They aren't all stupid.
I honestly have no sympathy for the sellers who get flagged off. They are breaking the TOS, and frankly, Craigslist should simply ban them after the third time it happens.

Its just an automated system. After so many people flag it then the system just takes it down. There is no human involvement to determine if the person should be banned.

What about all the people that post rants in the pets section? They post in the wrong forum shouldn't they be flagged also?
