    possible BP for sale; male
One of the three rescued BPs I have is almost ready for sale. He had a badly dented eyecap which has come out nicely. It looks a bit lighter than the normal eye, but really does not look all that bad and he reacts when you move your hand by him, so I know he is not permanently damaged there.
I wanted to keep all three, but financially I cannot do so. I have a horse on the way here in a few weeks and that'll be taking most of my money/time. I just had to get these three BPs out of the crappy situation they were in. So I sold one to a good friend of mine, and am keeping one. This third guy, I want to go to someone who KNOWS BPs inside and out and will take superb care of him. I know most of you people on here are dedicated keepers, which is why I thought to post here.
He is currently in Buffalo, NY. I would not want to ship him until the weather really breaks, possibly as early as April. I would really prefer it to be a local pickup but I doubt anyone here lives nearby.
I am not looking for a fortune for him; a reasonable offer would be good. I paid $200 for the three males, as well as a broken 55g tank that can only be used for reptiles. It was really not money I shoulda spent because I am a few hundred in debt, but when you see neglected animals sometimes you gotta.
    Anyone interested??

Was wondering how big/old he is, but reguardless, I'd gladly take him in/buy him (whatever), but live in KY and would be terribly worried about shipping him such a distance, however if you can't find anyone to take him by the time he's ready to go, lemme know.

Here are a few more specifics. He is really closer to 2.5 feet in length, now that I looked at him a bit closer. He is in shed right now, and I think I mentioned this before, but his eyecap was badly dented when I got him. Now it looks fine, but it'll only be 100% OK after he sheds, which should be this week.
I would ship him, and I don't think it'd be too far to go to Kentucky. I got a snake shipped from Michigan, and she got here just fine. :)

Here are a few pics of him. he just shed two days ago. His eye that was dimpled, has now taken on a different appearance; it's convex and not dimpled now, but it is a tad smaller than the other eye, with a blueish hue to it for some reason. The eyecap definately came off; you can see it in the pic of the shed.
He is definately a male; I probed him and it went in roughly 9 scale widths. He also had sperm plugs when I popped him last week; the probing was just for confirmation.
    He weighs 780 grams.
I have not attempted feeding since he shed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../Photo0010.jpg

    Shipping is $40-50 ...
You can expect that the price is without shipping.

I am still researching how to ship him. I have never shipt one before. :)
I do still have him. I would probably want to wait until it is a bit warmer out to ship him.
