New Brazilian Rainbow Boas for 2011
Here are the new additions to my Brazilian Rainbow Boa collection for 2011. I was trying to round out my breeding stock by adding snakes with exceptional colors or patterns. Male 1 has stunning red color that simply isn't done justice by my photograph. I'm also excited about my Pearls and Zebra Stripe Pearls. Hopefully the Zebra Stripes will show even more stripes in the next generation. It will be cool to watch them all color up over the next year or two. I'll probably stick with my mythology naming scheme, but I'd love to hear any recommendations.

    Me Too :)

Thanks everyone! I'm really excited about my new additions this year. The Zebra Stripe morph is brand new. It's basically an example of the Pearl side pattern morph where it connects with the dorsal pattern. I can't wait to see where I can take it with selective breeding.

Some of my other breeding projects include Ghost Brazilian Rainbow Boas (Hypo/Anery BRBs), combining intensely colored normals with Hypos to potentially create Cherry Red Hypos, and add a variety of colors to pattern morphs.

Brazilian Rainbow Boas are actually fairly easy to care for as long as their temperature and humidity needs are met with a properly set up cage. If you'd like to learn more, here is a Beginner's Guide to Brazilian Rainbow Boas, and a Brazilian Rainbow Boa Care Sheet. I also made a list of BRB FAQs.
