Re: Cheap Morph?
off the top of my head, pastel, black pastel, spider, orange ghost, pinstripe?, yellow belly, cinnamon, maybe a lesser, mojave, maybe a fire. probably some others that arent coming to mind
pinstripes are dominant, and ghostts are recessive, but the rest are co-dom, except spider, idk if anyone is 100% sure about those being co-dom or dom, if they are co-dom, the supers supposedly either die in the egg, or look the same

You should check out BHB reptiles if your from the US. they have a huge range of BPs and you can see roughly how much each morph will cost on there site
-
thanks ill check them out, have you ever dealt with lower end morphs?
-
Check out Ben Siegel website. www.albinonile.com
Lower end morphs would be pastel, spider, black pastel, pinstripe, some hets.
-
Im not sure where your located but I would look for some reptile shows. This way you can find the animal you like, theres no shipping (You can spend more on the animal itself) plus you can usualy haggle the price some
-
I would personaly go for a pinstripe if you can go up to around 250-300 they are amazing

I agree with you! Pins and cinnys are my two favorites!

For a large range of prices and availability look at kingsnake.com or faunaclassifieds.com. They host a massive amount of low to high end animals from a variety of different breeders. Just remember just because someone is selling a female pastel for $90 it doesn't mean it has the same qualities as other female pastels.
Each individual example of a morph has qualities buyers are looking for that justify the price, sometimes you are able to find great deals of exceptional examples of morphs if you spend a decent amount of time looking around or a visit local reptile shows to save on shipping costs.
Have fun hunting for your next purchase!

I saw male super pastels for 300 today at a show. There are few other 2 gene males in that price range. Females, not so much.
-
thanks, i would just like something that is different looking from a normal bp and has some colors outside the normal bps

If you are satisfied with your purchase, then you got your money's worth.
-
^ Get what you like, not what's "most popular" right now. If you want that $500 morph, save up for it. If you'd be happy with that $100 morph male, go for it. Just research and see what you think you'd be happiest with.

Not quite sure what you mean by that, but only you can decide if a morph is worth the money or not....
You can pick up a nice male lesser for about $250. Black pastels and pinstripes are both under $300. A lesser x pinstripe pairing will get you kingpins and lesser x black pastel pairings are awesome too. If you're willing to go just a wee bit higher for a female lesser (like about $400), a lesser x lesser pairing will get you BELs. :gj:

Agreed all of my animals are worth the same to me

im just overwelmed on how many morphs their is, sometimes i cant tell the difference between two but the price is way different

Re: Cheap Morph?
check out the morph list at worldofballpythons, its a list of almost every morph and combo out there, with other info such as the type of gene, and when/who first produced it, they also have multiple pictures of alot of them
and also check out these forums, they go over what makes alot of the different morphs, they helped me alot in telling the differences in alot of morphs

Exactly what I was gonna say.
In the long run, you will be happier with what you get if it is something you like. Find something you like, then worry about the price. Like Daybreaker said, save up. In the long run, you will be ALOT happier with your purchase. Don't worry about what is popular, or what is "cheap". It is alot easier to clean/feed/water an animal you like to look at rather than a constant reminder what a bad purchase that was because it was cheap.
