Poor decision making and hand warmers strike again. Sucks to open a bag like that. Sometimes it's worth it to spend some more and go through reliable sources. Best of luck getting this worked out.

Read all of it, she sucks! I just received a few balls in the mail today and I couldn't imagine how I would have felt seeing something like that. My shipment was from bsr and I can tell u it was not packaged like that:mad: sorry for your loss

I'm sickened to see how these bp's were shipped. It is just horrible. If you can't package them right don't offer shipping. I would be flat out pissed to receive that package. Sorry so much for your loss....

i am very upset, about this and i have told them about what happend and they are not willing to do anything about this. i am out $181 and a pair of het clowns :'(

will did and all he told me was to post it up on youtube after that nothing, they have not even said anything to defend what they have done. not one word after that.

I don't know how far from them you are but I'd be tempted to go and knock on their door and bring the dead snakes.

I am in NH and they are in PA about a 14hr drive round trip. i will be calling the cops down there, and filling an internet fraud, i did not get what i paid for. i guess i can also push mail fraud also. but i am going to see what my options are. there has to be something i can do.

I know you can sue her but not sure how that works since your in different locations. I would definately call the police and talk to them about it.

Wow, just wow. Really hope this works out for you. :( I'd be really pissed to have this happen.

First off very sorry for your loss and experience unfortunately there are alot of turds in this hobby that need to be exposed, so kudos to you for the video documentation. Thats not the worst but one of the worst packing jobs I have seen very unfortunate for the animals.Seems alot of people have over looked the ups label on the box at the beginning of the video, I would be contacting ups with the sellers name and info because ups does not ship live reptiles, not to mention the live plants inked on the box which is misrepresentation of the contents. I would prob go as far as talking to ups to see who you could send the vid to for documentation. I hope you end up getting compensated for your loss

You'd have to call your local police, not theirs. Also, I think posting to the BOI (which I see you've done) as well and black listing their names in the reptile community will do a heck of a lot more than the police can. You could probably file a report but I really don't see it going anywhere. Same goes for craigslist scams :(

Omg, I'm so so sorry. How devastating! I can't imagine how you feel. You were VERY smart to take a vid of everything. Will do you well in court, that's for sure!

In all seriousness, I am sorry for your loss. It was hard to watch that video. Kudos to you for making that video and posting it on forums. Have you posted it on their FB page?

they know, whats going on and they are not willing to fix this. the blow-up happend on fb and some of there friends have been PMing them so they know, as far as me getting a refund i don't see that happening. all i can do is spread the word and make sure something like this never happens again, anyone that ships like this you are for warned we will not stand for this and you will be called out.

So sorry to hear about that experience :( Thanks for the info/video/warning though. I had a close call buying from a less well known breeder. He had good reviews and seemed pretty reliable, but when I received the snakes I had purchased they had no heat (this is October in NW Washington) and there was no signature required for delivery, so they were dropped at my doorstep and I hadn't the slightest clue until I refeshed the tracking # page. The fact that there was no signature required 'bout made me go :taz: on 'em, but thankfully both the snakes seem fine. Just another reason to buy from someone who's more reputable

I don't know what I'd do if I got a DOA, just so depressing when you should be excited :( Hope you're able to resolve it somehow

Do contact UPS. They are gung ho on the whole mail fraud thing. First off you cannot ship snakes of ANY kind through them. Second of all the box was labeled Live Plants, a gross misrepresentation of the contents.

They would be a LOT more likely to do something about this than anyone else. Charge fees and fines, possibly even jail time for the shipper. Don't let them get away with this. She claims she doesn't know how to ship but her boyfriends does. Apparently neither one does.

Even the big breeders do not require a signature. Think about this. What if a signature was required and you didn't answer the door? The delivery man would have taken the package back to the shipping hub and tried again the next day. You answer the door the next day and get a dead snake. At least without a signature required the snake stayed on your door step.
