Do you think she is fat?
So my wife says my snake is getting a little chunky. She is the best eater I have and is well a garbage disposal and gets the leftovers on feednight:) So about 15% bodyweight every 5 days. Slinky is currently 294 grams was hatched 8-9-11
And I think she is just healthy but the wife is convinced she is to fat :) Let me know what you think
    Thanks in Advance

    King's Royal Pythons
As long as a ball python doesn't look like a blood python, I think it's fine.:)

There's no such thing as a fat ball python baby IMO when properly fed. I consider snakes fat when they're adults and noticabley becoming fatty: ie, their scales become really spaced apart when they don't have their bodies curved and when they loose their muscle tone. Even "fat" species that need to be nice and rounded will still have nice muscle tone when they arn't obese.

No, she's not fat at all. I've seen chunkier babies, and they weren't fat, either. Like Daybreaker said, baby ball pythons really don't get fat--they just grow bigger.

Adult ball pythons can get obese--seeing skin between the scales, and pinching near the tail, are signs of obesity. Nothing to worry about until age 3 or 4.

She looks great! I'd never be upset at a good eater. I have a trouble eater and I'd take the opposite any day.

Puffy? It looks completely healthy to me. If this is puffy than I don't want to see a non puffy snake.
OP, keep doing what you are doing. Looks great!

She looks like a healthy, happy ball to me.

Ball pythons are heavy bodied snakes, they are supposed to be round and plump, not stick thin like a cornsnake. Unfortunately, half-starved balls are the norm in petshops, most people don't know what a healthy ball is supposed to look like.

I've only see one truly FAT ball python. It was a photograph of a supposedly 5000 gram+ female, and she looked like she had swallowed a 2-liter soda bottle. She was FAT. Other than that one, I've seen the occasional pudgy one, but yours is neither.
