    Which pairing would you do?
So, all of my males have been assigned to females except for my female cinny. Here are the potential mates for her...

    Hypo Pastel
    Hypo Mojave
Pastel Butter 66% poss het hypo
    Red Axanthic het albino

Just looking for some opinions...I'm definitely leaning towards one of these guys, with another backing him up.

Hypo Mojave/Hypo Pastel. Why breed for pos hets? Just makes sense across the board. Worst case scenario all the babies are 100% hets.

It's a really hard choice, I said hypo pastel just because I like pewters more than cinny mojos.

Thanks for the input so far everyone...I appreciate it. I have to admit that though I'm not entirely surprised the way the poll is going, I am surprised that the Red Axanthic is getting no love...poor guy.

pastel butter. its the only co-dom double gene on your list. I don't see the point in putting a recessive gene in with it unless you have plans for breeding it back with your hypo line.

Well if you really need some het Hypo stuff for future projects then I would go with one of the Hypo males, but If not I would rather go with the pastel butter to try and produce some butter pewters.

    I agree!
I love Pewters. But it really a personal choice...what do YOU want to produce?

Re: Which pairing would you do?
I want to produce all of them...I'm probably going with the hypo mojo and have the red axanthic back him up. The hypo mojo x cinny makes most sense for future projects, as I love dark hypo combos. I'll use the red axanthic as back up, that way in the event of a split clutch, there can be absolutely no question of which babies came from which male.

If you have a hypo female, then do the hypo pastel.

Pewters het hypo. :) A great choice to breed to a hypo female, to produce hypo cinnies, hypo pastels, and perhaps hypo pewters.

    Hypo cinnies look fantastic.
