...Then I Took An Arrow To The Knee
I got Skyrim for Christmas and I am addicted. And so are most of my friends. I am level 19 as of last night...err this morning. I played till 6am.
Anyone else playing this wonderful drug of a game?
-
Psh. I have Bathorse, the hero Skyrim deserves.
The life of a young filly changed one, horrible night as she watched her parents killed by bandits and fed to wolves. From that night on, she swore to take revenge. Upon finding Releeka, the Argonian dragonborn, she became....
BATHORSE!
Being entirely serious here. This horse helped me take down a fort full of bandits.
-
Haha, my boyfriend and I take shifts playing (though I got him Dead Island for christmas, so he's playing that too now). Billy Bada** is out to save Skyrim :D
-
BEST GAME EVERRRRR!!!!! lol
-
Lol, there seems to be a ton of awful archers in skyrim. I have a lvl 37 archer, 26 Mage, 28 thief, 16 warrior and a 23 nord. Addicted much?

;3; I want it so bad.
.....though all I'd ever do is steal things. It's all I -EVER- did in Oblivion. :P

Oh then you'll love the bucket head glith in skyrim ;)
-
How do you do the bucket glitch anyway?
-
Pick up a bucket and put it on someones head, itll "stick", for lack of a better term, on their head and then you can take as many goodies as you want outta their pocket and you wont get caught :D
-
I can't get them to stick. Either they just fall off or fall out of my hands.
-
You have to flip them upside down over their heads. The word "sticks" was a poor choice of words on my part like I said. Watch like the first minute of this video and you'll see what I mean:

I know..And I can't get it to happen. The containers fall out of my character's hands, or immediately fall off the NPC's head...And I can't watch videos. internet is on the fritz and the ISP won't fix it because it worked fine on the tech's computer.
-
My cousin accidently left this game at my house... two weeks of heaven! I have to buy it when I have the cash since he finally stopped by and picked it up :tears:
I really haven't done much of the main story line but I've gotten to level 24 or so doing mostly side quests. And I must say, becoming a werewolf is the best thing I could have done for my character as she's not the strongest in combat :D
-
Omg I'm so addicted too! I'm level 32! I lost my job at the end of Nov do I've had plenty of time to sit at home and play this!!

Try not using a bucket. Get a big wicker basket or a cauldron or something bigger. Then aim your crosshairs at the bottom of the bigger basket/cauldron when you go to pick it up. This should like automatically spin it partially upside down for you to make it easier to get it over the NPC's head. Also Idk if this makes a difference but I have it for the 360. If this still doesnt work for you then my only other guess would be that the glitch doesnt work for PS3 or PC
-
Yeah, I have it on PC. I had to do a massive 5.7 gig update after I installed it.
-
This game has taken over my life. It's amazing. Seriously there have been times where I have a day off and I play Skyrim all day, forgetting to eat and everything :O
This is definitely my absolute favourite game, hands down.
-
I like to tell my friends I'm chasing the dragon lol when I play it.... I have spent far to much time on that game and I still have the main quest and the guilds to do:( I like to wander from town to town

Re: ...Then I Took An Arrow To The Knee
Christmas noob! Just kidding.
I stood in a line of 250 nerd out in the freezing cold wind on 11/11/11 to get Skyrim opening night, take it home, and slay the first dragon I saw.
My girlfriend hates when I play this game.
-
lol.. I have not played it yet.. but I did buy it for my husband for Christmas.. yeah... it was nice knowing him... I suppose I will see him again when he finishes it :P
-
I can't say I've ever seen the point of getting upset over someone playing a game.
-
I am WAY tooo addicted to Skyrim. I spend hours just roaming around... lol. I'm currently level 23 and have done like... 3 main quests. I keep getting distracted by all the side-quests.
I'm currently considering marrying Vilkas, in hopes of him being nicer to me!
-
I want it so bad! I rented it and plan to buy it as soon as I can, its such an addictive game! Argonian lady here, just have to decide between Derkeethus and Scouts-Many-Marshes when I get around to marrying somelizard.
Also, I agree that stealing is ridiculously fun! Weight limits suck tho. XP

Re: ...Then I Took An Arrow To The Knee
I have Skyrim for my PC, but for some reason mine has all kinds of glitches. ;) It is a lot of fun though. I have already completed most of the quest lines in it. I completed the main quest line at level 19. I don't think that I will be able to complete the thieves quest line though because of a glitch.

You can increase your weight limit to 400 from the pickpocket skill.

And putting points in Stamina.
As for glitches, most of them are kinda fun. Only the ones that bug out quests are annoying. Esbern disappeared and I had to go back to an old save.
My absolute favorite glitch is the crafting glitch where you can enchant your gear and make potions and get around 1.5 million damage on your weapons. I don't have to patience to perform it though.
-
Started off as a Khajiit but restarted because I have read that Imperials and Breton's make better all-around characters and that's what I like to do. Be good at everything. I don't just want to be a warrior or a mage. Still at level 1 since I was only able to play for like 10 minutes:rolleyes:

I haven't heard about that one. I'll have to check it out.
My favorite part of the game is killing dragons. I always chase them down ever time I see them.

Re: ...Then I Took An Arrow To The Knee
If you have PC version, get the Macho Man Dragon mod. This is hands down the best mod in the history of mods and why PC will always, always be better than console versions. It made me laugh so hard I cried.
