    Het. Albino Pair Pricing
Here is exactly everything I know about the two snakes in question.

    Late 2010/Early 2011's
    Unrelated Pair (1.1)
    Healthy

    Male is 80$
    Female is 170$
    or 220$ for both

I'll be finding out more tomorrow, but in the mean time, I'd like to know if they are worth the price they are asking. I'm honestly considering picking them up tomorrow when I go in for more information, but I'd like some other opinions on if it is a worthwhile investment.

I understand the logistics of the albino percentages, so I know it's a gamble no matter what, but albino is one of my favorite morphs, so I'm willing to take the risk, but I guess I just want to know if anyone thinks I'd get a better price elsewhere.

I'd also like to note that the closest Expo to me that I have found is almost 300 miles away - or across the border into Canada. It's not really a viable place for me to pick up more kids.

What are their weights? Doesn't a male albino baby sell for like $400-$500? Im not really sure what which morphs are going for right now pricewise, but if youre lucky you could double or triple your investment with one clutch. A 25% chance isnt that good but Im a gambler so Id say go for it if someone else says the price is right :D

Visual males are $250-$300 range on KS and Fauna. I would just get one of them a visual and one het.

If he did that the eggs odds would be 50/50 for albino and het albino right?
I'd do that if the males are that cheap.

I think it's a good price if you trust the person selling them to you or if they come with some sort've genetic guarantee.

Considering their age, it's not too bad for the female, but the male is priced a little high. You could probably get a male het albino yearling for $60.

So, consider quality as well. Look at the parents. Look at the animals. Are they going to make nice albinos?

If it's a shipped price then it's about the average going price, if it's + shipping then it's too high imo.

    Awesome guys, thanks!

The singular prices are just that - if I only wanted one.

If 170 is good for a female, the male is only 50, if I buy both.

I haven't seen the parents - not sure if I can.

They are in a pet store, so I've already seen and held them. And no shipping! Yay!

I'll hopefully find out who the breeder is today. If it is who I think it is, I trust them - I just have to find out.

    Also - I'm a She, not a He. :P

It also depends if/what het they are............ 50% or 66% or 100%???
If you can get with the breeder and verify they are 100% then its doable.
All depends how much of a chance you want to take.

    I just got an 1800g 100% het female and a 1000g 100% het male for $145
They are a proven pair and I only wanted the female because I have a het male already but the deal was hard to pass up on. I am just hoping for the same odds the breeder got.
Out of 5 eggs they got 2 albinos and BOTH were female.:O

Pit - I am so jealous. :P End of story.

    Updates -
I went to see the guy who knows about them and here is what I found out.

    2010 babies.
They are 100% Het. for Albino. He trusts the breeder that is selling them - And I trust him. He says he'll get me paperwork on them if I want it.
300g or so on both of them.

I held them again today - still healthy, mite free, pretty. One is...very spirited :P

Any more opinions? I'm looking on fauna and ehh..I'd rather get the two I can look at first.. :P

Yeah, I prefer being able to play with them, and physically inspect them myself previous to actually shelling over any cash.

I'm considering buying a visual and a few hets to go with; but I'm exceptionally leery about shipping this time of year, as are most breeders. I'd either have to wait for summer to roll around, or pick them up myself.

I found a male albino and 4 het females for 700 shipped.
But they are far out of my pickup range, and it's..almost January.

Man why does everything have to be so hard? xD
