that doesn't look like a RI... Our Burmese did this the night before he passed though. A RI should be clear white bubbles right?

I mean it could be a severe RI, but he said recently so idk...

That looks like an infected abcess in his mouth. Needs to get to a vet ASAP.

I've had burms with recent RI symptoms have a little blood in the mucous. They were treated with meds and were fine.

I'd say for now, bump your temps up a couple degrees, and call your vet in the morning.

Oohh I didn't think of that one. Maybe gently pry the mouth open and see what you can see?

:( Our first burm just couldn't make it and she passed on the third night we have her, she had mouth rot, a RI and blood coming from her mouth, so I jump the gun to vet when I see blood. :P better safe then sorry IMO.

and I also agree, up those temps a bit, but remember, don't trust our advice over a vets advice.

That sucks, I'm so sorry :'(

I too agree with better safe than sorry, but I also didn't want the OP freaking out thinking HIS snake was going to die, know what I mean?

It's okay, it still hurts but loosing any animal does.

And to the OP, I am sincerely sorry if I worried you, What I have learned from my personal experience with bloody mucous and from reading other post it goes south quickly, my point was to re-enforce how serious it is.

You need to see a vet ASAP, if you tell them it's a emergency they should fit you in that day or even the next.

Again I apologize, I just don't want to see another, My snake died post.

No lumps or anything is his mouth, it feels exactly like snot. He makes a noise also not sure how to explain it kinda like how you breath with a stuffy nose. Also opened his mouth and where his tongue is is a little red?

    Thanks

Looks like an RI to me. Sometimes they can get a little phlegmy when opaque, but not to that degree.

He only started doing it when he went into shed. I check this morning and I didn't see anything around his mouth?

You really should take that snake to a vet even though you do not see anything. What we saw in that pic you posted is most definitely not normal and would have me very concerned.

All any one on a forum can do is guess, it is not normal for goo to come out of a snakes mouth in any form RI or no RI it is something a vet needs to see and deal with.
