Lol Thanks :) She was a chunky monkey for a couple of days ( Straight after a feed ) She has been in with a male though so fingers crossed.
I'm hoping she does make some awesome clowns :D

Wow, she is a stunning adult. I like!

That's a good looking girl. If some of the hets in the clutch look like her I would dink around with it.

Thank you :) I'm praying that we get some visuals and if we get more looking like her then we will be happy. Another dinkin project for me to play with :)

She's a good looking girl. Good luck with her.

Looks like some of the hets I produced this year, the clown gene does some kewl stuff to even a normal and really messes with most morphs you cross it into.
-
That's a really nice looking het clown.
Sent from my crappy cell using tapatalk.

She looks so different from the male I have its untrue :) I must admit I absolutely love the clown gene. Can't wait to see what this pair produce this season ( as long as the male decides to know what to do )

Actually, could you get some belly shots?
I'm seeing some flames and a headspot that say 'possible yellowbelly' to me. Belly shots would help clear up whether my guess is right or not.
Still, she's a gorgeous girl and will probably have some very pretty babies!

This is the only belly shot I have at the moment I will get more in 3 days or so,

She's a beauty! Congrats on her!

Nope, not a yellowbelly. Oh well, she's still gorgeous!

Thanks mate :) I didn't think she was YB to be honest but stranger things have happened lol. I most certainly think theres a granite influence here though. I will post up a photo of her sibling shortly.

I see with yours how near the belly there isn't much bittyness if that makes sense it's not as busy. Like I said above to another I think there maybe a granite gene at play here be it genetic or not I think compliments her well :D If I got a clutch of hatchlings that looked like her I'd be happy :)

Re: Crazy Looking Het Clown Female,
Years ago someone posted a pic of a clownish het clown on the VPI Breeders Bragging Post site and Tracy Barker replied something to the effect that some het clowns look clown like. I don't think it’s nearly as common as het pieds with the pied belly but apparently several "recessive" morphs have sporadic co-dominant tendencies.

Re: Crazy Looking Het Clown Female,
I know what you mean Randy :D I think they look awesome when they show their het :D Its a shame not all look like this though would be absolutely awesome! I will have to get more photos of my girl I think along with the male :D

Some hets (any recessive het) have really crazy/funky patterns and/or colors. I would say you have a gorgeous het clown!
-
Re: Crazy Looking Het Clown Female,
Thanks Stephanie :D I think if there is anything different with her then it's the granite speckling ( the male shows similar traits ) If I get lucky and they prove to be genetic granites I'll be happy but either way I'm proud to have this girl in my collection :D

Or it could be that some "recessives" are very subtle co-doms, so subtle that we don't perceive the heterozygous expression unless it's an exceptional individual.

Re: Crazy Looking Het Clown Female,
I know what your saying here :) I have often thought about it and the wife said the same how do we know that recessives aren't actually co-doms and the visual form is a super form, With the 'Hets' being virtually normal but with slight differences. You see it with alot of different recessives and people say they are 'Markers'.
