I mean, she's clearly a pied. But I keeping thinking I see something else? Wishful thinking?

Looks kind of hypo to me. But I don't think anyone is going to accidentally sell a double recessive combo. :P

    Right?

She looks a bit like a pastel pied to me. And I suppose it's not inconceivable that somebody could miss that, just like it's not inconceivable that somebody could miss a really bad pastel... but it still seems verrrry unlikely. Especially given the price difference!

I love colorful pieds. Your lady needs to meet this young gentleman that I got from Jeff Luman:

He's browned out a bit, too, but you can still tell. We could make extra-specially orange pieds!

Actually, there's a "pied" up for sale right now that I'm pretty sure is a pastel pied. (Seller claims it was produced from a pastel het pied x het pied, and has pastel siblings. I haven't emailed her yet to ask what the story is ...) So anyway, it could happen.

Your gal doesn't really look pastel pied to me, though ... But she does look really neat. :) I think there's a lot to be done with selective breeding in pieds ...

Also, that one from Jeff Luman is HOT! :O Reminds me of a desert pied.
