I was just talking about this the other day with a friend. I think it is super annoying. Don't say LOL to me unless you are honestly laughing out loud. The worst was when my mom first started texting... She used it even when it doesn't make sense.. "hi hon, lol. How's school going? Lol. I miss you can't wait to see you soon lol"... Drove. Me. Crazy. She has since changed her ways and only uses it occasionally. :gj:

Ridiculous. Like there are a bunch of giggling idiots all over the internets.
I prefer LQTM (Laughing Quietly To Myself). It's much more honest and realistic.
I don't use it much but it doesn't really bother me.. Maybe because I'm a notorious laugher. I've had people pick fights with me because I laugh too much, guess I'm just jolly. And yes, I'm that guy in the movie theatre laughing when nobody else is, I know you despise me but I can't help it! :D

Never understood why people much complain about a simple phrase that people use. No worse than a bunch of smiles.

Re: A ban on LOLing
I will also something else! Most of the people who watch Arby N' The Chief, are most likely compulsive lol'ers. ;)

I'm guilty! But I laugh a lot in real life, so when I write lol, I usually am loling. :P

I hate when people use LMFAO. It makes me think "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle..." Or, I just have to get up and start shuffling....
