Getting A Male Mojave Pt. 2!

Its official! I got him today and I'm soooo pleased with him, but before pics I need to rant a teeny bit.

FedEx can suck big time. The estimated delivery time for me was 10:30 this morning. Ok, so 11 rolls by, alright no biggie. 12 gets here, umm feeling a little paranoid. 12:30 ok time to figure this out. Jane at Mickey's Nightmare whom I got him from called them to see what was going on. Apparently there was a 'station problem' and they couldn't get a hold of the driver. I dunno there... so they were supposed to call me with info. So 1 rolls by and then 2 I have to call them. They said the driver said 2:30. Mkay then...

Needless to say I was a bit irritated being as they were 4 hours late, I had to call them for info and poor little thing was a little cold when he got here. So here's to you FedEx, step it up a little.

Anyways sorry to rant like that it was a bit ridiculous. Now for a few pics! Also I decided to name him Mandark(Dexter's Lab lol)

More to come once hes settled in. His color is accurate in these pics. His yellow is crazy bright and he is really dark. Love my new little guy!

I know! Lol he looks so bug eyed but he's not. I guess it was my camera or the angle

dont feel bad about your guy being 4 hours late i live in virginia and my two were supposed to be here by 1030 am we waited and waited i called 5 times they said that their was a delay with the airplaines from weather finally at 750pm they showed up very cold and the guy that delivered them dropped the box up the steps in my opinion when it says live animal fragile they should be treated with care not happy with fedex right now sorry for the venting:D

Feel free to vent all you want, after that I'd be livid! Hope they're doing ok, my little guy is doing fine. I want to hold him so bad but I know I should wait so I will with as much patience as possible :P

He was $150 plus shipping :) my most expensive snake yet! Haha, that's chump change to some, but a big empty hole in my pocket!

Also, he bit me tonight lol I was feeding him and he was not having any of it. Got me in the wrist and drew a little blood but it didn't hurt at all. It just scared me and made me jump real bad. Atleast he ended up eating for me :rolleyes:

Congrats! He's gorgeous! My baby Dumeril was 4 hours late as well. I was panicking and soo worried about her. It took calling and pestering them several times before they contacted the driver and had him deliver her ASAP. He still showed up bouncing the box, even after they called to tell him it was ALIVE!! I told him off after snatching her out of his hands. Lol! But she was fine, and has eaten now. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I share in your FedEx frustration. Lol!
