Need opinions on a shirt I'm considering purchasing.

So, we all know snakes and snake owners get a bad rap. We also like funny and cute things about our animals.

I stumbled across this shirt today, and knee-jerk reaction is, I want to get it.
Does anyone think it's inappropriate ?

My knee-jerk reaction, like yours, is I love it!

The cynic in me says it encourages the negative stereotypes we fight daily.

Then the humorist in me says people need to lighten up and take a joke...especially that darn cynic over there. ;)

I've got the bumper sticker (my pet can eat...) on my truck--the ONLY one I have ever put on a vehicle!

lol another reason to add to the if I can ever get out of debt to get pieces. (I need to win lotto or become a drug dealer lol ) then I can get and afford to have a zoo of snakes and rodents farm and enjoy doing it instead of needing to find a way to get 30 rats(varying sizes) every weekend lol.

hate it. the only pet a BP can eat is a pet rat. this is giving a bad rep to BP's. also,, on another note,, i got a shirt from cafe express,, and its a POS. after one washing and drying,, the print cracked all to hell.

that is an awesome shirt and you should totally get it! (if you havent yet) I want to get the shirt that says: "PETA- people eating tasty animals" but i don't know if i have the balls to actually wear it in public (hmm maybe i should just get the "got balls" shirt.... :P)

I love it. In fact I picked up the same thing in a bumper sticker last year at Hamburg, and it's on the truck.

My first reaction was similar to yours. This is what the voice in my head pretty much said: "LOL!! I need one!" :P I think it's a freaking funny shirt. I'd get it and wear it proudly!

the shirt in question is one i would definitely purchase, however i would not wear it just anywhere. it would be reserved for vending/attending in reptile expos, meets, etc.

Nobody I know would find it amusing. Sad but true. They all think my snakes are going to eat me as it is. I have to defend my babies to stupid people all the time. I would love the Got Balls shirt I just don't know how the Hubby would feel about walking around with me:D
