Black light pics of my Blue-eyed Lucy
Inspired by that youtube vid, I thought I would shine a black light on the little fella to see if I see any hidden pattern, and sure enough there is a little. I snapped some cell phone pics, so they are not the best. I will have set up a light box and get out the real camera a to get some good backlight shots.
Remember these are cell phone pics:

Black light
Seems it was harder for the iPhone camera to get crisp focus
I see a stripe on the side of the head

And a bit of strip and pattern down the back

It is sort of difficult for me to see, is there any side pattern or is it the dorsal striping? I was wondering if this would work to see if you hit a 3rd gene when working with BEL complex combos. Very cool, thank you for sharing!

I really did not see much of a side pattern. Just a little that comes off the dorsal stripe. I will get much better black light pics this coming week when I get a light box set up.
These pics were taken with a back light for finding cat pee. I bought a nicer black light bulb as well.
It would be interesting to see if a BEL that has say spider genes would show a hidden pattern.
