Every year I see one of these posts. Well I havent seen one yet so here we go. What projects are you working on this year?

Me, Im doing a Mojave x Pin and Mojave x Normal.

Only going to have one female up to size. So going to try and get a 'crash' course in breeding this year. Next year, unless I buy breeder size females, I will only have about 1-3 clutches as well. The following year will be the fun one.

I hope I get a chance at buying some of those het clowns!

First year for me, nothing too exciting (but very exciting to me): ghosts, piebalds, pastels, lemon blasts, pinstripes, spiders, and of course normals/poss hets. Good luck to everyone!

Not this season, but next season, I'm planning on some humblebess!


Though, that doesn't really count, until next year...

since our pastel het axanthic is our only breeder size male morph we're putting him with all our girls. 2 normals, one is proven the other is a virgin and then as i type this he's in with the het axanthic female and they are currently locked which makes the second confirmed lock for this pair so really hoping we hit the odds with a pastel axanthic with female being the preferred sex

Lesserbee X Fire= Trying for a "Nuclear Spider" but with the lesser gene insead of Butter to see what variations if any the Lesser gene will have on the combo vs Butter. I really hoping to hit the odds! Nuclear Spiders are my FAV combo right now. :banana:

Lesserbee and Fire X Pastel = Who's your papi? (I imagine my Female Pastel as being some sort of Hispanic) :P

get those het for pieds good size if they arent, and try for some pieds.

My first season as well, hoping for some queen bees (pastel lesser X spiderx2), killer bees (bumble bee X pastel), double het albino/pied (pied X albino), spiders, pinstripes, pastels, and super pastels among others. I am really going to be greedy and hope for lots of females. I plan on keeping EVEY morph female I produce so that in 3 years I have 30-50 clutches (or more)

Just trying for Spiders this year (I'm just starting out and my pastel isn't big enough to breed). Keeping it simple.

Although I haven't seen a lock with my spider x normal pair yet and I've been pairing them up since early November...

Yesterday I came home to our Piebald breeding out Pastel and our Spider PH Ghost and Pastel het Ghost breeding as well. We had been breeding the Pastel to a Bumble Bee, I thought she was ovulating so I stopped breeding them as they stopped locking. I figured I'd try the Piebald for poops and giggles. The Pied, hadn't been breeding and the Bee had stopped, so I figured I'll try to see if that got things moving, well, it did :) I guess when the clutch comes out we'll see who the daddy- hopefully. I love the clutch I had where I had no idea who the daddy was. It's like scratch off tickets :) Still don't think this was my best idea.
Anyways, we're hoping for...
Killer Bees, Super Pastels, Lemon Pastel, more crazy Bumble Bees (little picture below), Lesser Platinum, Spiders, Cinnamons, Piebalds from our crazy greenish male (that's Bolt at the bottom), Albinos, Mystics, and Mystic Potions (my favorite football team), and a few Mystic things to add to our collection.
The Mystic stuff and Lemon stuff probably won't be till later in the year.
