Finally Finally Finally!!

After pairing my Pastel Lesser with my Mocha, and nothing happening I was a little discouraged but I said maybe it's her not him. So a couple of days ago I paired him with my big normal female, and within minutes saw this...

I got a little excited because it looked like he was trying which means he might be ready. BUT THEN!! Last night I got home and saw this!!

Call me crazy but that looks like a full lock! I was running around the house screaming like I won the lotto. If she becomes gravid and lays for me and all I get are normals, I wouldn't care. I'd still be happy because successfully hatched something out. MAN I"M EXCITED! I'm going to keep him in there for a day or two more then give him a break, try to feed, and then put him with my other big normal.

Very exciting, that's a great looking pastel lesser. I wish the morph gods are kind to you this season!

Between her and the other normal (if they lock as well) I'm hoping for at least 1.1 Pastel Lesser's. Then hopefully sometime early 2012 the Mocha decides she wants in on the action too.

Thanks guys! I am still in disbelief that I actually have a pair of locking snakes. I've working at my collection for so long and it's finally stable and breeding!

congrats on the lock! i was super excited when my pastel het vpi locked with one of my normals on just tuesday of this week. it looked like they were locked up for at least 8 hrs so im thinking she took. monday im putting him with my het vpi girl so if the odds gods shine down upon me as they shall you, ill get some pastel axanthics lol. hope you get your boy and girl like you want.

Here he is with normal #2..... Please excuse the mess, that got dirty a few hours after putting him in there and I didn't clean it cus I didn't want to disturb them. I NEVER leave them dirty like that.

Hey good luck! I feel the same as you do, I got my female pastal het pied, male cinny and a male unknown, and i'm to the point I dont care if I get a clutch of normal het pieds i'm craving pairing and breeding...lol..:gj:

Well my Mocha went off feed for the last couple of weeks and I saw her wrapping her water bowl (I read somewhere that, that may be a sign she's ready), so I decided to throw in my male and see if anything happens, even though less than 2 months ago she denied him. And I woke up to this.......
