My baby is all grown up now!
I have a good amount of pairings going on right now...but out of all of them, THIS one is my favorite. It's nothing crazy, no crazy morphs....but this is my baby boy, my love! He's around 1000grams now and is the best breeder I've ever had.
They've been pairing up for a while now...and every single time they're together.
I can't wait to get some stunning babies from them. I'll be keeping all of the females ;)

Wow he is an exceptional spider!

I love that clean, even gold color, and such sharp black pattern! I don't blame you for being excited, I would be too.

agreed. his color almost approximates a desert spider if that picture is a faithful representation. great reduced pattern to boot. best of luck.

    Thank you everyone!
And yes, that picture is what he looks like in person too. The picture was taken, went on my computer, then to photobucket, then posted on here. No editing. :)

I hope you didn't misunderstand me; I wasn't referring to any manipulation of the picture. it's just that often times our cameras don't accurately capture the
true, in-person color of the snake.

hope you'll keep us updated when your girl ovulates and lays her clutch.

Sorry, I had misunderstood you. This picture does show his true color though.
He did NOT start off this bright as a baby. He started off looking like a normal brownish-tone spider and has just gotten brighter and brighter.
I will definitely update when she ovulates (if I catch it). And will absolutely be updating when she lays and then when they FINALLY hatch!!

My male spider is around the same size. It's crazy how fast they grow, he is by far my favorite snake I've ever had. Congrats on the more than willing stud!

    Seriously, they grow very quickly!
And he has the most personality I've ever seen in a snake.
I'm sure no one will believe this...but if he's around my neck and I make the kissy noises (like when you call a dog), no matter what he's doing, he'll come over and give me a kiss on the lips. I'll try to get a video some time, as I only have pictures.
He's one that will never be replaced. He'll always have a home here with me.

Yeah he is a pretty pretty boy! My spiders are monster feeders as well! A little clumsy but always eat!

I said I would, so here's an update...I was expecting her to lay in the teens, instead this female laid 7 HUGE eggs.
    So, here they are

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you!
I'm probably going to be a little selfish and end up keeping all of the females...I'm hoping for 7 (or more...can i cross my fingers for twins?) stunning female spiders! Haha.

We have been using my spider Jacob for breeding this season and he will be a year old in June and has been locking very regularly with our female pastel Sango; we are hoping for some bumblebees!! Both of them have very sweet temperaments that carry through to any babies they may have and I hope that his little ice cream cone shape (perfect shape of sugar cone with one scoop of ice cream, so cute!!) on top of his head carries over to at least one of his babies. :P
