That's awesome. I have a few pics of my girls ( 4, 11 and 12 ) holding the burms and retics too. They love those snakes and its awesome to see other people and their kids sharing the love of reptiles!

Absolutely beautiful reitic. I would LOVE to actually be able to own one.. in your opinion, Because I've seen you own a few other giants. :P would a male stay under the 15 foot? I've read it could easily hit 20 while some only hit around 11..

it all depends on genetics and your feeding schedule. We dont feed our males as often as we feed our females so they dont get as big as our females.

And I believe genetics play a big part in some snakes for instance the male pictured is 2 years old and around 12 feet. But I have two Burmese python males one labyrinth that 4 years old and gets a rabbit or guinea pig every other week and is only 8 feet. And a normal het albino that is 2 that is only around 4-5 feet he however is a very stubborn eater.

I remember when mine were little, they'd throw a fit if they didn't get to help do any of it. Now that they have their own bps, they take really good care of them without me having to say much. Mine are much older now....16 and 18.
