Need help deciding on a spider
    Hello all,

I've been in search of a female spider and found 2 locally for $100.
I'm having a hard decision on which one to choose. I know its really up to preference, but I don't really have one when it comes to spiders..... I'm honestly not a huge fan of the base spider morph. However, I do like the combos they make.
So my ultimate goal: Breeding that girl.

I started a thread previously about spider morphs here

What do you look for in spiders + combos?

    Here are the two choices:

    1 (435 g)

    2 (250g)

Sorry that the pictures are small. That's all I have.

Any of these two good? Should I wait for a different one?

    Thanks for looking!

Side note: Both are feeding fine.

Out of those two, I would go with #1. I like the high white on the sides and is a little heavier! Not a bad looking spider!

Choice 1 all the way. Beautiful reduced pattern with high white sides, all the traits that I love in a spider.

I agree, go with the bigger one. She has a nice reduced pattern and high white sides :)

Make that 4 for spider #1. I like her unique reduced pattern, high white sides and she is bigger. She also appears nice and chunky like a ball should be.

Spider #2 is very average to me. Not bad, but nothing special either.

Either one would be a steal at $100. Even hatchling males usually go for more than that! I saw a 400g female sell the other day for something like $450 and see breeder sized females go in the $1k range all the time.

Yet another vote for number 1. My first morph was a spider, I really like them and just about anything you put them with.

    Thanks all!

I'll try my best to get that #1 if she hasn't been taken already. :)

I agree, #1. The high white on the belly is an awesome trait.

Um, Why hasn't anyone else said this? At $100 each, get them both!

#1 for sure, and a steal at that price!

Generally speaking, I'd go with #1 as well....but before I made a final choice, I'd look at the wobble issue. If the first one has a significantly more pronounced wobble than the second, then I might pass on it and choose the other one.

    Just my two cents.

I don't think anyone can say for certain how the degrees of wobble are passed on, but it makes sense to me that if we focus on breeding the least degrees we can, then maybe we can at least minimize its impact in future generations.

I have a spider, and one of my favorite things about her is that she shows almost no signs of wobble at all. Just a very slight head tilt from time to time. Someday, when I can actually breed, I'll feel confident breeding her.

Go with number one all the way. Her pattern is nicely reduced pattern, rich brown and high white.
Let me know if you do not get her. I would gladly buy her. Seriously.

x2 Spider females are great to have in a collection, they eat like pigs and grow quickly. My spider females are my favorites cause I know they will always feed and breed aggressively
