Spiders may be a little different.
Here is my male spider. He has always been an amazing eater. Tonight he decided to continue rising out of his tub like he was a cobra being played a flute. I thought it was funny so I snapped a few shots. Enjoy.

mine do this every feeding. Its beyond annoying. When I first got my big girl she hadn't been offered a meal in 4 months. I opened her bin to feed her and she rose more than three feet. She was pretty much eye level and in hunting mode. Talk about freaky.

    Oh yeah, that's adorable.

Until a 3800 gram breeding female who is convinced she hasn't eaten is 5 months does it out of an eye level tub, and you realize that rat is WAYYY to close to your face for comfort! :O

According to my husband, the same thing happening with a female that size in a bottom tub and the rat being much to close to something personal is just about as scary. :eyepoppin
