If you want to make Sterling Bananas, here's a quick step in that direction! lol I personally don't like it as a baby but with some size on it now it looks pretty interesting.

I know of about 5-6 available as well as some combos...just gotta know where to look! ;)

I got to hold a banana while at the Tinley show in October. I like the color, but besides the price of $55,000 they seem.... so over rated.. I'd rather have an.albino pied. Now those are beautiful. But hey, we all have our opinions. Lol

LOL. To What I just said on the next page. Shortly after I gave the Guy back his banana a Guy came and offered him $45,000 cash. That mad my mouth drop... I mean I had seen $8,000 dropped earlier that day but he just dropped $45,000 like it was nothing. Make us with low incomes go. *very sad crying face* ;(

It's an investment/gamble. If it's male, breed it in like six eight months to five six BIG girls. The kind that drop 10-12 egg clutches. You have (if the odds are right) 25+ top dollar snakes to sell.

Oh yeah I know. My point was I just couldn't believe I saw it. Balls if you get the right ones and know some.buyers can be a good source of income, but when I see breeding I don't see money, just beautiful snakes. :) i won't lie, I've been tempted to drop a 1,000 on a snake.(which after bills, rent, school all that is ALOT...) but I always stop myself knowing the higher priced balls are breeders..not pets so to say. Kinda got off topic..oh well.

Yeah i'd rather get a male that I can breed to lots of big normals or other morphs than a female and only get one clutch.

Bananas are still relatively new, yes. I think 2009? Anyway, the males are more pricey because they are more rare due to something genetic, and it hasn't been made public as to why, if anyone knows.

Either way, the prices on females are drop drop dropping and should be in the single thousands within the next 5 years I'm guessing. I 'll be buying one.

I recall reading something about them first being discovered in 2006, but I could be wrong. That's back when they were 100k+.

That sounds about right. I think it was closer to 2009 when they were made public. Don't quote me on that though.

I expect I should have one within the next three years. Between both me and my gfs incomes it should be plausible.

Definitely, a very interesting morph. Males are going for 50-60K with females in the 15-16k range.

Still a lot to be uncovered on these but I want a one as well.

    Hi,

Is there a price difference between the F1 males and the F2 males?

Has anyone put any of the latter up for sale yet?

That is a good question. I have not seen any and would have to guess that they would be closer to the six figure range. From my understanding it is not often that one pops out so I am sure those become hold backs at this time.

F1 refers to First Generation, F2 2nd gen, F3 third gen, etc.

The second gens will be going for a lot more, and be more likely to be held onto from my understanding. They supposibly are the ones who pop out more males...:colbert:
