R.I. Issue

I bought an albino about a month ago. I left him at the pet store so he could dry out. They had given him the injections to help clear everything up. He looked good so I brought him home. When I looked at him he was full of bubbles and having issues again. What should I do to clear him up again?

As I'm sure others will say:

Take him to a vet!

What kind of injections was he on? How long was he on them? What is "drying out"?

Most likely, yes.

Yes he was seen by a reptile vet. I dont know exactly what the injections were. They just told me the vet had given him some injections. When I say drying out, Im talking about not producing bubbles

Did the vet do a culture? There's a possibility that the right medication wasn't prescribed if symptoms have returned.

This is something that my female normal has always done, as long as I can remember (about six+ months?) She's always made a popping sound when she exhales and has no other symptoms.

I'd get that paperwork on the vet visit(s) pronto. On there it should say what they prescribed to treat the RI.

Do you know how much "some" injections are?

Also, he could have been looking better but RIs can be very hard to boot so it could have come back (ie the injections really didn't kick the RI, only made him appear better but didn't "cure" it).

Also:

Baytril (most likely what was prescribed) doesn't always kick an RI: sometimes you need to run a culture to see if there's a better medication to treat it. A culture was estimating from my vet at $200-250, but this depends on the vet.

Evan: she could have had some water stuck in her nostrils when you noticed the sounds and that's what is making the popping noises. I'd check inside her mouth/throat just to make sure.
