I'm positive you'll be getting that male :)

Normal, that was before I realized how many different kinds of bp's are out there.

Not to sure with how much the shipping is nowadays. Was depending on RCReptiles pretty much, but if he's out of the states....

My friend that is here in Miami, told me overnight shipping is around $20-25 for reptiles, I'm not sure if that's just for florida though. But he is a respected breeder down here. He has a lot of cool snakes and I'm sure he has loads of normals. I just don't know how much he'd sell a male normal. If you are interested he has his cell number on his breeder's page. That's if that local guy doesn't workout for you.

Thanks! What's his name? :)
Also, I always see shipping costing roughly 50$ even if it was a state away! I don't know whether that's really how much it costs or.... (That's how much Constrictors Unlimited shipping costs and they're reputable)
Thanks,
RJ

Fed Ex Overnight (in the US) is usually $50+ depending on the size of the snake(s). I've seen some lower shipping rates for overnight for smaller snakes (baby colubrids and whatnot) and cresties though. Depends on the seller I think, but so far I've paid ~$50 each for the snakes I've had shipped to me.

I believe that really is how much it costs, though I've never shipped myself. Some vendors add in the price of new packing/shipping materials as well.

Our first ball python was an adult female normal that we rescued. I really regret getting rid of her. :(

Yeah... $50 I definitely don't have. If I can't get a normal by x-mas or a week after then I have to wait until May! I really don't want to have to wait that long. :(
Thanks,

His name is Jonathan - 786-973-3364
I bought a snake from him and he quoted me $20-25 but I lived in the same state as him. So I figured that's how much it is for within the same state. But shipping ended up being Free for me anyways because I did his auction. I got a Mojave female 198g for $220 plus free shipping. It was an amazing deal and I'm happy with her.

My first ball python and first snake ever, was my female normal, Captain Hook. I couldn't be happier with her and she will always have a special place in my heart above all others :)

Yup, that is about what I've always paid, even for small boxes. Sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more. Even a large adult ball should be in this range. The only exceptions I would imagine would be if your box was exceptionally large/heavy (adult burms, retics, tegus, monitors, afrocks, rtb, coastal carpets, etc). If you think that is bad, you ought to look up what it costs to ship hots via Delta Dash. ;)

It says the shipping is based on ZIP code. I am on the opposite side of the state. (top and bottom wise) It will probably end up costing me $50 or near there for shipping.
Thanks,
RJ

I don't know about that. Richard Cooper from Ohio was going to charge me $35 for overnight shipping for one of his cinnamons and I live in Tennessee. About nine-ten hours away.
-
My first bp was a grab bag of 10 baby normals :)

I could send an email to get a shipping quote I guess. Will probably do the same with Ralph Davis since he is in Maryland. Guess it wouldn't hurt. I'm just hping I can get one by x-mas. :(
Thanks,
RJ

Edit: ^Melly, I love seeing those ads. We get them a lot here. I mean obviously a dark normal = cinny, right? We also get a lot of "het pastel" ads around here.

Yup. Lots of breeders/importers do this to get rid of large quantities fast. I bought a "bag" of 25 balls once. Kept a few hold backs, sold the rest and doubled my money. :gj:

Spider who is now 5 years old.
