Update about me getting a snake.

Hey everyone!

Like the title says here is an update of what's happening.

Me and my girl are going to get the snake as a gift to each other. At first she was hesitant but once she saw pictures she became hooked! It looks like we'll be getting a normal ball around Christmas or a week before. It will be at my house until I head off for spring semester and will be at her house until summer break. During the month that I'm home will be a learning experience for both of us. The only thing she is worried about is feeding. She will get over it though ;). We're splitting the price basically. I'm buying the snake, hides, tank, tank lid, and the heat lamp (just in case we need it will try without though). She will be getting everything heat related and regulating the heat related basically. lol

If you want pics when I get it I will definitely post them.

Thank you all for answering all of my newbie questions. I will probably have more in the upcoming weeks. I am excited to join the world of owning snakes.

The Ball we're getting is going to be $35! We're going directly to the breeder since it's only an hour or so drive. (Also, so we don't have a $50 shipping bill lol) Can't wait. I will be ordering some of the things thanksgiving week after I buy some x-mas gifts on Black Friday!

Probably a stupid question but I'm assuming it will be best to get everything, set up everything, and make sure the temps are perfect before actually getting the BP? lol

It's fine. He wasn't in my life my entire life basically. Just that one time that I do visit him for Easter that that happens. I moved on.

When things like that happen you use it to push you to move on in life. I'm using it to want to better myself. Make something of myself with good pay and enjoy what I'm doing. (Going to be a computer programmer :) ) Crap happens in life you just have to make the best of it. :)
