    Ghost male opinions
So i picked this guy up locally about a month ago. QT is over with and he is doing great. The person i got him from had NO paperwork on him. Since he is a visual ghost i felt my chances of getting screwed were a lot less lol. I was told he is a "ghost" i want to make sure he appears to be an ORANGE GHOST and not a green ghost or something like that. I have a 100% het OG female i plan to pair him with.

That picture looks OG to me. From what I understand, all the ghost lines are compatible anyways. Even if it was a green ghost, you could pair it to an orange ghost and still recieve hypo offspring.

    Great looking snake!

I really love ghosts, a male ghost was my first snake.

so to confirm all ghost lines are compatible and regardless of the female as long as she is het then i stand a chance producing ghosts? i understand i may not hit the odds but regardless i have the chance.

I remember reading rumors of some lines not crossing, but I have failed to find an actual example of a pair not working.

yeah thats why i asked, i thought i read that they do not all mix. i cant remember if its was just a nerd line or something like that or an ad i read on KS. either way i still stand a fight chance and cant wait!

Green ghost is not compatible with orange ghost. Check out clutch #83.

well im hoping he is an OG and all is well lol. i guess we shall see. the female is sitting right at 1300g empty so i would like her to be a little larger. She is still eating like a horse so again, we will see.

Seems to be a lot of that going around lately. I swear there was just another thread with the same question.

I'm in about the same boat with a female I got from a buddy who got her in a group deal. No history on the animal at all. He said he had once bred a "green ghost" to an "orange ghost" and got double hets, but he said the female he sold me didn't look like the green he bred. However, she does look an awful lot like the green on Corey Woods' site.

... I wonder if there really is any way of visually telling the difference, or if it's going to be like different lines of axanthic where, without any background, the animal is a genetic crapshoot (unless it's a really screaming orange "orange ghost").
