    Mystic?
I am not one to think my normal is a morph, however... I snatched her up off a local classified add because of her looks. She has lots of mystic qualities! Lots of flames, donuts, empty pattern, head spot, color. let me know what you think? I am planning on breeding her to my male pastave het pied!

She's pretty that's for sure. Mystics usually have a slight mojave coloring to them though.

I have a female which looks very similar, with very nice blushing and nothing on her stomach. I'll be breeding her to a mojave, and I am really hoping her beauty is inheritable.

Looks a lot like my mystic male, but I only have one... IMO it looks mystic/phantom or any of the others that are compatible at making things similar to mystic potions (super phantoms, etc...)

Trill, this thread was started LOOONG ago and just got upped because the female laid a clutch.

I'm super interested to see what happens here.. She's got "a look" that just screams subtle genetic morph, if that oxymoron makes any sense.. the total package of combining those colors with that pattern with that blushing with that "look" to the scales, I would never pass up the chance to dink with a snake like that.

Thanks for the update, I'm looking forward to more, and GOOD LUCK!

Thanks mainbutter! I knew when i saw her she was diff. had to have her! Hope something proves out with her!

Its day 49 and one egg is really dimpled! I want to cut! I hate when they go flat! Hope everything is going smooth in there! I will probably cut that one egg in 5-6 days just enough to help with a pip.

Ok its been a while.... sorry! Here are the results!

    1.0 crazy looking pastave
    1.1 mojaves
    1.0 pastel
    1.0 normal

I'm thinking she is a chocolate! I can't seem to tell but the pastave and mojave female look way different! Let me know what you guys think! I will post pics in 10 min.

So does this dinker girl look like she has passed anything on genetically? I think she's a chocolate now? Anyone seen chocolate mojaves or chocolate pastaves? Should I hold back the pastave male and breed it to her?
  • 09-25-2012, 09:31 AM
    mainbutter
    My guess:

    1) The dinker did not pass on anything that's showing up exceptionally in the offspring.

    2) I'm 99% sure that a specific one of those offspring is het pied ;)

    "recessive"..

Mainbutter I would love tour input on what you think is het pied? Thanks

    I agree with Mainbutter.
The pied gene does crazy stuff to hets. And that tail fade is pretty common in morph het pieds.

    Gorgeous looking group! Congrats.

I agree the pied gene does weird things I just dont know if I should hold him back to pair with his mom. She looks like a chocolate. But I can't find pics of a chocolate pastave?
